Recently stayed here for 4 nights in early August. The location is wonderful for walking and exploring Portland and the area is quiet. I had the Emerson room that is accessed from the side through a separate entrance and has it's own porch with table and chairs. The room was large, with a queen bed, chair, small frig. and TV,... I recently stayed at the Percy Inn for a get-away weekend with my daughter. We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was at the top of a narrow, and dangerous, stairway, the "breakfast" was worse than at a cheap motel (it consisted of old fruit, lukewarm water to make instant oatmeal, and bins of unappealing stale cereal), and... This B&B states that The Yankee Magazine rated it #1 in all of New England...this is extremely misleading advertising. There is no way this could have been an honest rating even given that the review is ten years old. The Inn is in a terrific location, situated within a neighborhood with lots of activity, shopping cultural establishments and restaurants. A... More

Recently I stayed at the Percy inn for my birthday. We had wonderful time enjoying what Portland had to offer. The young lady working was very informational and pointed us to main attractions downtown. Overall a great weekend spent in Maine!

Accommodations charming and decorated beautifully. But stairs to get to the rooms were extremely narrow with steep turns. Carrying anything up and down the stairs was a challenge and a bit risky. Breakfast two days in a row was identical: same exact choice of fruit, same kind of pie, same kind of petite muffins, and hard boiled eggs again. Food... More

Our trip to the Percy Inn didn't start off brilliantly - we arrived to find an envelope pinned to the reception with a key in it and instructions on how to get to our room. Unfortunately the key we'd been given was the wrong one, so we were left standing outside on a Friday night. Calling the inn-keeper's number just... More

The Percy Inn sits on a quiet, tree-lined street just around the corner rom of the restaurants that Portland one if the Foodiest cities in America. The room we stayed in was very cute, with pretty decor and a comfortable Queen bed. There was an alcove where a rollaway bed provided more private accommodations for our son. Breakfast was pretty... What a disappointment! I had carefully planned a romantic weekend and had selected the Percy Inn with care, its location was great, the reviews were good, I had no idea what an ordeal the whole thing would turn out to be. I booked the room TWO months in advance and I even have an e-mail confirmation to prove it! So... More

This Inn offers genuine hospitality, a comfortable cozy setting in a location that is convenient to downtown Portland and all it has to offer. The Innkeeper, Chantel, was very pleasant, informative and accommodating. Will definitely visit again and stay at The Percy Inn.

We stayed for a night here, and it was an incredible experience. We loved the old brick style of the inn. Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious. The little housekeeper that was working at the time we were there was very polite and helpful. She told us about alot of fun things to do and see. I will... More
