My husband and I had been given a gift certificate for three nights at the Percy Inn. What a gem it turned out to be! The directions that we received to get in and find our room were clear, humorous, and very accurate. The room, itself was cozy and made us feel very much at home. The decor was lovely... More

This charming and comfortable B&B couldn't be more conveniently located, in Portland's Historic West End -- 2 block from the Portland Art Museum and close to many of Portland's amazing restaurants and shops. And did I mention free off-street parking so you can leave your car and walk everywhere? Rooms are nice decorated, bathrooms updated, and breakfast offerings plentiful and... More

I won't be looking for another place to stay the next time I come to Portland. I'd describe the whole operation as "laid back" It's a smaller operation, so the front desk isn't always manned, but a quick call from the phone at the front door connected us to the innkeeper, who gave us the entry code. We found our... More

My fiance and I stayed here recently as went to a concert at the State Theater and it was great. The walk to the theater was maybe two and a half minutes and after it was nice being so close to our room. The Inn was very clean and quiet. We were definitely impressed and would recommend this Inn. Thank... More

This is our second time back at the Percy Inn. This is definitely where we will always be staying when we visit Portland now. My husband and I were there for two nights to celebrate the New Year. We stayed in the Walt Whitman room. It was small, cozy and clean. It was a perfect fit for us. This inn... More

The Percy Inn was the perfect place for the two of us to stay for the weekend. We traveled up from New York to explore Maine and Portland is a great location to start. Everything we wanted to see in Portland was in walking distance from the Percy. The rooms at the Percy inn are sparkling clean, have heaters, comfortable... More

My husband & I stayed in November for a long week end. Our daughter found The Percy Inn for us. It was very nice. We were on the 3rd floor and loved it. The breakfast was fabulous, that brambleberry pie was fantastic! Cindy is the innkeeper and is new. I think she is going to make a huge difference to... More

The Percy Inn was a great and convenient place to stay. I felt like I was staying with rich relatives who had kept an historic home in their family. The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was cozy without being overly flowery. It was like staying in a Victorian time period novel. The housekeeper Cindy was a great help, made... More

Cindy was our personable receptionist and welcomed us warmly and graciously. Since we arrived at noon, she told us the room would be ready by 3:00, so we left our luggage in the piano room and toured the city which is quite walkable from the Inn. The room was indeed ready when we returned at 2:45 with an informational envelope... More

We stayed in the Ralph Waldo Emerson room (very tired decor) for 4 nights. It was small which was ok. It's on the ground floor and we preferred this. It is within walking distance of the wharf area and there are many nice restaurants in the area. The downsides - 1) We did not expect to have to deal with... More
