We spent a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Chadwick. The Baxter room was small but perfect for us, with a cute private balcony and a large private bathroom across the hall. We admired the fire pit and hammock in the yard but did not get a chance to use them. We did take advantage of the free cookies, drinks, computer,... More

Charming B&B, beautifully maintained and decorated, excellent breakfast, clean and luxurious rooms. We stayed one night and were very comfortable. Our private bath down the hall had everything we needed. There is a window air conditioning unit in each room which makes for a wonderful night's sleep. I'm not sure if there is air conditioning on the main floor, but... More

I stayed in the Chadwick for one night and had a great time. The room was comfortable, the house was charming, and the bathroom was spacious. I loved that there were only 4 rooms, it made it cozy and personal. Also Scott was very welcoming and made us a delicious breakfast. The cookies are amazing too! Do not pass those... More

Very clean and beautiful place. Erin and Scott were very friendly. The breakfasts were exceptional. Loved the cookies and wide variety of teas. We would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work. Rita 7/21-7/24/14

This was our first trip to Portland and I'd had little time to fully research accommodations and neighborhoods. Selected the Chadwick based on reviews here and it was very much as described. Only two rooms were available the one night we were to stay and so we selected the Baxter despite it being the smallest of room in the Inn... More

I would highly recommend The Chadwick! The grounds and rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast is AMAZING! Loved the cookies and snacks available, and the wine selection was very good. I would definitely stay here again!

It's not easy to impress six women but you managed to do so with great aplomb. The inn itself was very charming and the rooms exquisite. The innkeeper and staff were very cordial and accommodating. And breakfast on both mornings was decadent. Sheila 7/16/'14

We've always loved Portland, and this B&B was a relaxing and delightful part of this year's trip. Comfy bed and clean bathroom with a nice breakfast and good wine selection. About a 1.5 mile walk to the harbor attractions and < 1 mile to desirable restaurants on Congress St. Would stay again.

I really liked the experience at the Chadwick. First off, the first floor was well laid out. You can tell a lot of thought went into making the best possible experience for the guests. The living room included a nice sitting area, wine available, and a dinning room with cookies and fruit available. The rooms were equally well appointed. Breakfast... More

The most amazing B & B I have every had the pleasure of staying in . . . we first discovered The Chadwick just over two years ago, on a fantastic get away weekend to Portland! The perfect mix of comfort and style, Scot creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that mixes Old Port charm with modern convenience. We have... More
