A mix of classic Maine charm with all the modern amenities and friendly hospitality made for a wonderful weekend! In the spirit of full disclosure, we’ve known Sue and Roy, the new Innkeepers as of 2014, for years. They’ve always been outstanding hosts in their home and now they’re offering that charm to the public in this newly renovated Inn... More

I recently spent an August weekend at The Wolf Cove Inn while attending a women's workshop there. As the owner of a busy inn in the White Mountains, it was pure heaven to be on the receiving end of fine hospitality for a change, and it was most appreciated! Although I had never been to this inn before, the extensive... More

Thank you Cathi. It was great having you and your group here. I'll have you know that through an amazing bit of teamwork from guests the following week and weekend, the puzzle got completed! Sue took a pic and posted to Facebook if you'd like to see it. Alas it is now in a box alongside three other puzzles waiting... More

Sometimes you need to get away from home & office for some R&R. I knew I needed it when I slept for almost nine hours the first night (normally six if I'm lucky). It was quiet and comfortable, the rooms are neat and clean, and the staff are very helpful. The new owners are a delightful and friendly couple who... More

we have stayed here the last 4 years while we pick up from Summer camp. The new owners have made some mice aesthetic improvements to the property while maintaining its charm. We are sorry they were away at a wedding the weekend we stayed as the wine tastings they now hold in the sunroom sound very attractive. Lakeside setting still... More

We spent two nights at the inn and found the hosts warm, kind and responsive. We most enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the lake, the resident loon, the spacious and peaceful common areas with jigsaw in progress and the lovely gardens. For experienced canoers the canoes were a booking drawcard but the old and battered aluminium canoes were disappointing. Expect... More

Had a wonderful stay for just one night (wish I had stayed two) on a business trip. Sue gave me a warm welcome and the room was immaculate. The dining area is beautiful and many people were hanging out in the evening with a bottle of wine (which you can get from the B&B if you didn't bring or buy... More

My husband and I stayed at the Wolf Cove Inn last week along with our 4 month old puppy. We spent the afternoon playing in the lake (Sue & Roy had a number of water toys including canoes, a row boat and inner tubes) and wandering through the garden. We had a lovely night with some of the other guests... More

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We loved having your puppy stay with us, Gabby especially. We always enjoy watching the doggies play together. More

Fantastic stay! Great room, wonderful breakfast and beautiful lake! We stayed two nights and it was such a pleasure. I will surely visit again when I make my way to Maine from New Jersey again. My wife and I had such a nice stay!

We stayed at this lovely inn on a quiet Tuesday, so we had the lakeside chairs and canoes practically to ourselves. Beautiful views, comfy outdoor patio leading down to the water, gorgeous garden, which could easily be the venue for a stunning wedding. Idyllic setting other than sounds of traffic from a nearby road. The rooms have all been renovated... More

This was truly a surprise, and well worth every penny and minute spent there. Gorgeous views of a beautiful lake, super accommodations, great renovations and stories told! Roy makes delicious breakfasts and Sue, it was fun chatting - with both of you! Our first visit to Maine and it won't be our last at the Wolf Cove Inn. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!... More
