My husband and I were in need of a weekend away from our busy and demanding jobs. When I phoned the EdgeWater Farm B&B and spoke to the owner, Carol, I sensed a good vibe immediately and booked 2 nights. My instincts were on point. Carol was welcoming upon our arrival and very informative about the area. The bed was... More

We stayed a whole week in this beautiful place, close to several beaches, in the middle of a large garden and some organic farming. Carole, the owner, prepares typical fresh breakfast mostly from products of her garden. We took some "baking classes" with Carol (blueberry pie, strawberry short bread...). Free coffee and juice is doing the whole day, a fridge... More

Carol and Bill graciously took us in for a night off-season, on extremely short notice. The house was comfortable, it's on a beautiful peninsula, the breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality was excellent.

After traveling all throughout New England with varying degrees of success for finding a night's sleeps that includes our lab + pug, we finally found a home at Edgewater B&B. Our pore-teens loved the pool and we loved the breakfast. This a comfy, no-fuss place to hang our hats. Highly recommended.

We spent the night at Edgewater Farm and not only got an incredible night's sleep (much needed after the long drive!) we were treated to a lovingly made breakfast (which included their own homegrown raspberries), coffee as strong as we make it at home, and just the right dose of friendly conversation and local travel advice. I would recommend this... More

We have stayed here twice for wedding anniversaries. It's quiet in the springtime -- birds beginning to return to the coast of Maine, flowers in the abundant gardens. Innkeepers are friendly and hospitable, generously sharing their knowledge of the midcoast communities. There is great walking nearby -- Hermit Island, Popham Beach, Morse Mountain. Breakfast is home-cooked and wonderful. Easy biking... More

Hubs and I were in Maine for about a week, enjoying the glorious land that is Maine. Our last two nights were supposed to be at the Edgewater Farm Bed and Breakfast. We made the reservation over the phone. I was very excited, because there were so many excellent reviews from others who had enjoyed themselves. We arrived in the... More

Carol E, Owner at EdgeWater Farm Bed and Breakfast, responded to this review

We'll give our response to our recent guest's unhappy experience for which we're very sorry - BUT - there are some very unfair and - quite frankly - also untrue statements. We'll take them in order: Our B&B decor: yes, there is much used furniture but a new queen mattress in the "Rosey Room" where they stayed. Yes, quilts, bedding... More

A Bed & Breakfast on a farm, in an old farmhouse, that's run by avid gardeners, means fresh food, lovingly prepared, with comfortable rooms, and gorgeous gardens! When we called to say we would be sailing into Sebasco Harbor (a couple of miles away), Carol graciously offered to pick us up. She also recommended we have dinner at one of... More

Good folks running it, nice quiet location, nice rooms, what more could you ask? The owners have a good knowledge of local hikes and lore, and they grow a lot of their own food here as well. This peninsula has a lot going for it- not too developed for tourism, beautiful hiking and beaches, etc.
