this was a peaceful campground, we loved it. It was few miles to Brunswick where their are allot of places to visit and eat. We are older couple with one small pet and we enjoy campgrounds that basically cater to older people like us, most campers are return seasonal that come to Orr Island to escape the hassle of the... We are beginning our third season here, after two short visits previously. It's without a doubt one of the best run and most beautiful campgrounds we've seen (we've been camping for about 30 years). It's peaceful, quiet with friendly campers and owners and inspiring water views around every bend. The rules are not hard to follow and are based on... More

Nightmare on Orr’s Island. A nonfiction adventure of many campers that have been there. The owner is less then helpful and many rules and regulations keep campers from enjoying the ocean waterfront. Nice place if you want to stay inside your camper or on your own lot, it is not inviting to walk the grounds. Thankfully we had no long... More

We just spent one week at Orr's Island Campground. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They had a packet of things to see and do on the islands ready for us. The view was stupendous. Every where you looked you saw water. The seasonal campers made us feel very welcomed. There were many great things to see in this... More

I'm not sure what those folks with the poor rating were doing, but we started camping here this year and I have to say, this is the nicest, best maintained campground I've ever been to (and I was raised camping). The views cannot be beaten by any campground within 500 miles, period. And the owners Beth and Jot, they are... More

We do not believe that the campground has changed hands because the owners seemed to be very knowledgeable about the changes that had occurred over the years. But they are the nicest, most pleasant and helpful owners we have encountered in five years of half-time RV traveling. First of all, every listing of his campground says that it is for... More

Avoid unless you want to be hassled!! The couple who runs this campground live on a power trip and love to walk around yelling at people. Don't even think about not backing a car into a parking space....red faced shaking owner with a very raised voice RUNS from the office to yell....no exaggeration. Many unhappy seasonal campers. The owners are... More
