Myself and fiance' are successful business owners. We recently stayed at the Inn due to a new addition to our family a white lab retriever puppy and felt that the first floor easy access to outdoors from the room would make life easier for the new puppy and ourselves. We are frequent travelers and are in the process of find... More

This review is not accurate. He extended his stay for another week and the card on file declined on a Saturday for the upcoming week. Several times throughout the week, he had discussions with the desk assuring us that he would transfer funds to cover his bill. By the following Thursday, I called the guest myself about his bill and... More

This was a great choice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice stay with a visit to the University of Maine bringing us to town! Nice clean room, a delightful breakfast really worked out perfectly! Presently going under some renovations... but didn't detract from our stay, I think all the improvements will only add to this... I don't usually stay in non-name-brand hotels, but was pleasantly surprised by the clean, comfortable room, which included a refrigerator, microwave, AND a keurig coffee maker!! Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The only drawback was security. There were old-fashioned keys to enter the room from the outside... actually, there was only one. The person at the desk didn't... More

It's the most convenient place when we come up to see our daughter at UMaine. Comfortable room with nice view, personable front desk, very nice breakfast served daily. It makes out trip easier each time we come up.

Brought High School students for a convention at NHS State Convention at the University of Maine. The two minute drive to UMO was very convenient the next morning. The service was excellent, the rooms were very nice, and the hot breakfast (included with our state) was great!

We once again stayed at the University Inn for our Y State Championship swim meet. It's a clean, comfortable location that is close to the field house. We love that there is a hot breakfast -- perfect for young athletes who need a good meal before hitting the pool. Thanks for another nice stay!

The University inn is topnotch. A beautiful location and very pet friendly. We had a room on the first floor facing the river which was just perfect, with a gorgeous, snowy view of the river and orono. There was a path that was shovelled out accesible from our sliding door that we could walk the dog and i would guess... More

The University Inn's staff was very helpful. There was a discrepancy with my bill that they worked on and we came to an agreeable resolution. There was also an employee that went above and beyond & was thoughtful with the little extras that made our stay more comfortable. We stayed during a snow storm and they thoroughly cleaned the snow... More

We stayed here for one night prior to my daughter touring U. Maine. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, we instantly felt safe and comfortable. The room was very comfortable (especially the beds) and we had a lovely private balcony overlooking the Stillwater River. Breakfast the next morning was more than you could ask for, eggs, bacon, waffles, danish,... More

I love staying in this "little bit of home" when I'm in Orono. The owner takes great pains to make the place homey and welcoming, with lots of homegrown decorations and a gigantic Christmas tree in the lobby! The staff are friendly and you can tell they like working there. Can't beat the hot breakfast (think, a mountain of unlimited... More
