My husband and I stayed at the Inn for two nights. The lake is stunning and swimming, kayaks and canoeing are right at your door step. Gina is a gracious host and the breakfasts were excellent. The location is perfect for feeling out of town but a short drive to all the sights.

My wife and I stayed at this bed and breakfast for three nights. Had the most restful stay imaginable! The setting on Alamoosook Lake is simply gorgeous. Gina, the owner, goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Her breakfast was simply superb on all three mornings, and it was specialized to take into account... More

Gina made our wedding perfect. The facilities were absolutely 10/10. They were spotless clean. Gina was very gracious with her time and suggestion on how best to setup the reception area (our wedding was only small) . The outdoors areas and grounds were immaculate - beautiful green grass right down to the lakes edge - just stunning visuals. The food... More

My wife and I were trying to find a small Inn for our anniversary getaway. We were looking for something between Bucksport and Bar Harbor. We did some research and found place. It was only a few miles of main route 3 but it felt worlds away. I can't believe I driven by there many times on the way Acadia... More

We had the great fortune of spending two nights at Gina's very quaint, cozy and comfortable bed and breakfast. The setting and the quiet were magical. We heard a young eagle screeching and a few ducks quacking - that was it. The view of the lake was beautiful. Gina was most helpful in guiding us in our sight-seeing. She was... More

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely, rustic inn in early September. Gina, the inn keeper, was a gracious , informed hostess. Gina has owned this delightful inn for 13 years and takes great pride in sharing her knowledge to make your visit to Maine a unique experience. She gave us wonderful advice which made our stay... Gina and her staff will make you feel welcome in the most serene setting you can imagine. We recently stayed here for our "base of operations" in visiting Bar Harbor, ME. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. 6 clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast to die for, all with an idyllic setting next to a Maine lake. Made for a... More

This place is awful and the owner was so rude to everyone that attended my friends wedding. I work in the hospitality industry as an event planner and deal with people day to day and yes, some are a pain but when your dealing with someone on their wedding day, maybe you should try and be nice to them and... As the DJ for the wedding and an event planner by profession, I am surprised that you would equate rudeness with enforcing restrictions on illegal alcohol consumption. It was unfortunate that you and many of the other guests choose to set up tailgate parties in our parking lots and attempted to “sneak” liquor into your friend’s reception. This is not... More

Working with Gina to plan a custom New England lobster picnic and cocktail reception was a delight. As a foodservice professional, my requests were at times different from what the Inn typically provides, however the Inn and staff executed flawlessly. Gina was very agreeable and adaptable to our desires. The food was plentiful, the lobsters, not the 1 1/4 #... More
