Gina and all the staff were extremely friendly. This was for my daughter and her partners wedding! It was fantastic !!! We made ourselves right to home. Our breakfasts were great! The wedding dinner was great. The rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. I didn't want to leave !!! Thank u again Gina & all the staff.

Gina and her staff will make you feel welcome in the most serene setting you can imagine. We recently stayed here for our "base of operations" in visiting Bar Harbor, ME. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. 6 clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast to die for, all with an idyllic setting next to a Maine lake. Made for a... More

This place is awful and the owner was so rude to everyone that attended my friends wedding. I work in the hospitality industry as an event planner and deal with people day to day and yes, some are a pain but when your dealing with someone on their wedding day, maybe you should try and be nice to them and... As the DJ for the wedding and an event planner by profession, I am surprised that you would equate rudeness with enforcing restrictions on illegal alcohol consumption. It was unfortunate that you and many of the other guests choose to set up tailgate parties in our parking lots and attempted to “sneak” liquor into your friend’s reception. This is not... More

Working with Gina to plan a custom New England lobster picnic and cocktail reception was a delight. As a foodservice professional, my requests were at times different from what the Inn typically provides, however the Inn and staff executed flawlessly. Gina was very agreeable and adaptable to our desires. The food was plentiful, the lobsters, not the 1 1/4 #... More

The view of the lake is gorgeous, the drive in on a not much used road adds to the woodsy feeling. A lovely dining area and breakfast was great. I saw deer and a fox in the area, also not far up the road is some great blueberry picking Enjoy!!

This was the third year that we held the Loosey Goosey Quilters Getaway Weekend at Alamoosook Lakeside Inn. We look forward to it each year. We love having the whole place to ourselves and totally take advantage of it. Gina and her staff are awesome and greet us with smiles when we walk through the door with what must look... More

Every winter since 2002, a group of handspinners from downeast Maine has gathered at Alamoosook Lakeside Inn for a long weekend of spinning together, basking in the wonderful atmosphere that Gina creates. We have been meeting at individual's homes weekly since 1975, but this is different. For all of us, it's a way of unplugging from the real world for... More

I wish I could have just stayed forever. The setting was a tranquil, beautiful, wonderful Maine lake that was perfect for kayaking, swimming, fishing, sunning, stargazing, wildlife watching, and rejuvenating. The inn has cute and very clean rooms, a delicious homemade breakfast, and a true Down East atmosphere that will leave you wanting more no matter how long your stay... More

First of all - Gina is wonderful. She is full of knowledge of the area and my baby ate her cooking - which is rave remarks in my world - he is SOO picky! The lodge is very dated and some parts have not been changed since the 1960's - but to me that was its charm. It was about... More

Mid-afternoon, we phoned the management and advised we would be arriving after 6pm. We arrived at 6:15. NO one to greet us. Key left at the front desk and note to say that there were canoes and kayaks out back. (it was DARK outside!) There was not even a bottle of water to quench our thirst after a hard day... More
