Disaster from the minute we arrived; only to find out our reservation was mysteriously cancelled approx. 2wks. before we arrived and the owner Mike still had our money but could not tell us when and who supposedly called in to cancel. He would not return our money nor did he have a room for us-but felt he could hold on... more

We stayed at the Normandie for a week and it was great. Just steps to the beach. Great breakfast and lunch beachside, right there. Clean, well maitained facilities, owners are wonderful. We will definitely be going back again next year. more

I just read a review by a customer who said the staff was "snippy" that couldn't be further from the truth. Mike the owner is just the best!!! The housekeeping staff is excellent and extremely friendly!! It was obvious Mike appreciates his customers he constantly makes conversation and jokes around. Clean, weel kept hotel, close enough walking distance to the pier and far enough from all that noise, polite and pleasant crew weel managed by Mike the owner. more

We had a great time at the Normandie. Good service, nice pool, nice beach, nice panorama, the suite contained everything we needed and the room was large enough! And all the attractions were there! We enjoyed also being close to verything: fancy restaurant and fast food, and other activities. See ya next year, Normandie! more

I stayed here for 1 week, there is a train that goes by at 2am every morning wakes one right out of a deep sleep. The management was anything but nice..one would think your business is appreciated..not to them though.very snippy..however i guess you get what you pay, it was cheapest around. more

my husband and I along with our three children stayed here for 5 nights . We had a very large room on the second floor . It had two queen size beds and a pull out sofa bed . a couple of chairs . a large farm house style table with five chairs .. and a fairly large kitchen ..... more

This inn is right on the beach, however, it is dingy and not so well kept. The linens are grungy and we do not plan to stay here in the future. But, it is cheap, so if on a super tight budget then not too bad. Considering the motels in the area, could be worse. more
