Wild Acres is a great place to vacation in Old Orchard! I can't wait to go back. The staff is great! Campground is clean, safe and both kid and dog friendly! Be sure to rent a golf cart to see ALL of the grounds! The zip line is a fun activity for all!

I went for the 4th of July and stayed in a Villa which was very up to date and super clean. All the people who work there are very friendly and accommodating. We also went to the Aerial Adventure Park which was a ton of fun. Over all we had a great trip and will be returning! I can't think... More

We stayed here for the July 1st week for one week and found it to be clean, well staffed, and pleasant. As the previous reviewer wrote the 5mph peed limit is not enforced and is a danger especially when the kids are driving the golf carts. I personally drove my van behind a young teenager as young as 12 driving... More

Just Got back from July 4th camping, happy with the campground .pools, store , etc. but people including STAFF!!! drive way to fast there are 5mph speed limit signs everywhere that are not obeyed or inforced by staff or renters and some seasonal people. this should be addressed .also children on there bicycles should also have a set of rules.... Our family stayed at Wild Acres several years ago when it was owned by Morgan RV and swore we would never go back. After reading some of the recent positive reviews, however, we decided to give it another try with our three kids ages 9, 8, and 6. As most reviewers have pointed out, the current owner Sun RV has... Ok. Big campground. 650? Spaces. Clean restrooms plus porta potties in some places. Free hot showers with enough water pressure to blow you into the next stall. Things they don't tell you- access to the beach is a paved road at the back of the campground. Dumps you out in the city streets 2 blocks from the beach. Very limited... More

A family of seven (three kids 6,6,4) stayed two nights in a campervan in early June 2014. A wonderfully woody park with a relaxed feel. It is very large though, a one km walk from our site to a heated pool. Golf carts are available for hire. Mini golf was a well maintained course and $5 per person to play.... More

The campground was clean and extremely well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our son LOVED the aerial adventure course and spent and entire day in the trees. He was so proud when he made it across the pond on the zip line. We were thrilled to get a place that allowed our dogs. The train going by was... More

Just got back today from Wild acres in Maine. We arrived about 3 hours early because we got an early start hoping not to get to held out by the down pours. When we arrived the first person we spoke to was a young girl who said she could not help us because we were 3 hours early and we... More

I was really impressed with this campground. Very well run and maintained. Lots of activities to keep the younger ones occupied. Cabins are compact but have all the luxuries of home. I would highly recommend this campground.
