Powder Horn has all of the basic amenities and much more. Our first night we arrived late and were happy to see the illuminated site marker which made it easy to find our location. Even though it was almost midnight when we arrived, helpful staff directed us to our site and helped spot us as we set up our camper.... More

We are a family of four, and this is our second season with our Pop-up camper. This Campground is perfect for families - we were located on a quiet little circle where our boys could ride their bikes endlessly without fear of being run over by a car or golf cart. The campground as a whole seemed pretty quite, though... More

The staff greeted us warmly and got us checked in quickly. The site map was premarked so we could find our site easily. We camped in a class c motorhome and found decent room for extra chairs, bikes and company. The campground was very clean and I appreciate having the pool staff onsite until closing. This was our first trip to... More

This was our first camping trip to Powder Horn. We enjoyed our stay. The grounds and bathrooms were extremely clean! What we found nice was the showers are FREE. In other campgrounds we've stayed you pay a few quarters, not here. Thank you. Our children enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, mini golf and arcade. The trolley ride to the... More

After thirty years of camping I can say this campground has the cleanest bathrooms I have ever experienced, even better than some motels I have visited. Many activities for kids and families. Convenient bus to beach. Friendly and helpful staff.

Normally we prefer to camp in Provincial Parks with nature and privacy but for a family campground, we enjoyed the atmosphere of this resort. It was clean and very well organized. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike all around, the free mini golf and indoor movie with treats. The prices were quite high compared to other places we have camped... More

Campground was very clean and well maintained. Constantly seeing staff picking up trash and washing the bathrooms. Good location, about a mile and half from the beach. There is a trolley but it costs money each way. I have a large family so it was cheaper to drive in and pay to park. Sites are tiny! Not much room to... More

After staying at Bailey's Campground last year and not liking it at all due to the large amount of people and traffic plus the lack of staff presence and enforcement of rules, we decided to stay at the Powderhorn with my cousin's recommendation. We are so happy and thankful that we did! My kids could ride their bikes, people were... More

It was clean! I can't tell you how important that is to me, but it was such a beautifully clean facility, and the staff was very friendly and available. We loved our stay and plan to return next year.

Nothing needs to change at Power Horn.... Clean, Safe, Friendly, Affordable and near all fun attractions. This is our 8'th year going to this campground, we look forward to it all year. Not sure that they should change. I see this year they did improvements to make it safe for campers to take the shuttle with a nice sitting area... More
