We go camping once every summer here. The trolley picks u up and will take u to the beach or amusement parks for a dollar pp. There r 3 pools, hot tub, kiddie parks, exercise park and lots of activities. Love it here, people are very friendly. Pet friendly also.

This was our first time camping at Old Orchard Beach. We were very happy with the overall experience. The restrooms are clean, showers are free. The pools and hottubs were great. The camp store is very well stocked, including delicious coffee and pizza! The only thing we didn't like is that our site was a lot smaller than any other... More

There is a lot of friendly people to meet, the staff is so friendly and there always something to do. Every morning I go to the store and get myself a coffee, every year it is the same woman... More

We have been camping several times already and have experienced several campgrounds. Powderhorn is by far the worst one we have been to. They nickle and dime you to death. Everything costs extra. A family is usually more than 2 people so we had to pay extra for our 2 children when we have never had to pay such fee's... More

Every year for the past 6 years we have made a group trip to Old Orchard Beach for the July 4th long weekend. We have anywhere from 3 to 5 families traveling together. We have always gone to Powder Horn. This year foolishly, we thought we would try something new. I am not here to bash another campground near by.... More

Great facility with multiple pools, lots of activities, and staff makes sure it does not get too wild. Facilities are kept immaculate, all roads paved. Good mix of seasonal and overnite guests....people are friendly. Within easy walking/biking distance of beach area, there is also a trolley service for only $1 each way. Close by well equipped market with good meats... More

My family and I just returned home from spending a long weekend at Powderhorn. It's now off season so some of the ammenities were unavailable. We always seem to forget something so having a camp store is kind of a must for us, but it was closed for the season. Otherwise, We were very happy with our stay. The staff... More
