My husband and I have never been to a campground before but we were up for an adventure in the off season. I made the reservation through the 800#. The agent was very friendly and explained everything about the accommodations including our need to bring our own linens and paper products. We found the Wagon Wheel easily and were pleasantly... We stayed in one of the cabins at this campground and liked the campground so much we bought a seasonal unit and absolutely love being there! The so called "cabins" are really very nice and new. We stayed in one by the adult pool/hot tub and it had 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft, 1 1/2 baths, living room/kitchen, and a... More

I absolutely am not a traveler. The first thing I brought with me was two large cans of Lysol. Did not expect to sleep either but......l Everything was so spotless I didn't even need to disinfect the place. I felt comfortable. The beds we comfortable and I did bring my own linens and pillows. I slept like a baby, I... More

Stayed here for a week recently and found things to love and not love about this place. First, the good: This CG is very clean and the family pool and new "splash pad" is great for a family. Our kids had a great time using both of these. The facilities also appear to be very recently renovated and very clean, although we... More

We just arrived home after a wonderful family reunion at Wagon Wheel. We rented two cottages and my brother stayed in his pop-up in the trailer area. The cottages were very clean and well-maintained with propane grills, fire pits and plenty of kitchen accessories. We were clearly told that we needed to bring our old linens. The pool and splash... This is a family campground that is managed by a professional guy (Brian) that truly cares about what he is doing. There are continual activities for the children, including a very clean pool, a water slide pad, playground, game room, activity center and so much more. It is a safe and clean property. The bathrooms have been remodeled and are... More

Buyers beware. We stayed at another campground owned by the same company and their rules are different. When we arrived at check in it was busy but they were quick to getting everyone checked in. We got to our "cabin" and realized that we were missing some major items. My wife went back to the office and was told that... More

As a last minute getaway at the end of the summer to one of our favorite areas in the country - Ocean Park, Maine, we stayed in one of the rental cabins at Wagon Wheel in August 2013. We were expecting a fabulous experience since we had recently rented in the Virginia Park section of Wild Acres and the place... More
