We love it here and have been coming annually since our almost 9 year old twins were babies. The newly updated Surf point 360 is stunning. However, the service is less than adequate. Last night we waited 40 minutes for a table after calling from the room 15 minutes prior and being told there was a few minute wait at... More

This is my third stay here. Everything has always been top notch from their restaurant to room cleanliness to staff friendliness. Check in is a breeze. Two pools with lots of lounge chairs all around the large property. They have buildings across the street but I've always stayed nearest the ocean. I'm marrying my best friend on the beach off... Spent 5 days in a combination business/leisure trip in June 2015. While the rooms are not fancy, they are clean, comfortable and designed to provide a great vacation. Woke each morning to sunrise and made coffee in my in-room coffee maker to enjoy in the chairs on the patio. Cool, crisp air and the sound of waves! Opened each day... More

Rooms were clean but nothing special. We paid for an ocean front room; not sure we would do it again. The increased cost for the room wasn't worth it. The grounds and location are ideal. The new bar on the second floor was a highlight. Our biggest complaint is one that others have stated, for the price of the rooms,... More

We were there with our two grandsons (ages 2 and 4). The pool area is perfect with a large swimming pool going no deeper than 4 1/2 feet, so it was easy to stand up and take care of both children. Another indoor pool (smaller) does have a deep end. Older kids were having a great time playing games in... More

Went here for our 19th anniversary and stayed Friday to Monday. We had never stayed at this hotel before but have been to Ogunquit many times. We loved it here. It is close to downtown. It is right on the marginal way, the room was clean and the grounds and view were great. Would stay here again.

My family of three (myself, my husband, and four-year-old son) had an absolutely lovely time at Anchorage by the Sea. The views are spectacular, the facilities are impeccable, and the location is hard to beat. We spent most of our time at the pool because my son loves to swim. The Surf Point 360 restaurant had great dinner fare for... More

First of all, this is one of many places to stay in the area. They are NOT service oriented by any means. There is no help with luggage, the request for a make-up mirror was met with a "we don't have those", and as far as service at the bar and/or restaurant...non-existent. Lots of stairs! Not a place we would... More

Dear Jane U, We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with your stay with us. We would like to thank you for giving the Anchorage a try. We are more than happy to assist guests with luggage upon request. Because of the layout of our entrance and lobby, we don't have a regular bellhop. Unfortunately we don't offer specific... More

We recently spent a long weekend at the Anchorage by the Sea. The hotel rooms were very clean and I would suggest a room facing the Marginal Way. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool as well as 4 jacuzzi tubs. There is an adults only tub but the pool personnel did not enforce the rule to our disappointment.... More
