The room was comfortable and had excellent bath products. I enjoyed the cable television since I do not have it at home. I can't say enough good things about the hot continental breakfast and amazing made to order waffles! During breakfast we watched a deer graze on the back lawn and a heron wading in the river... more

The hotel is everything you would need for a getaway with your family. The rooms are clean and large. The pool is heated and clean. The breakfast is a great feature. There are more choices then just your average continental breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms may not be as fancy as you find in some resorts... more

The best thing about this hotel is the view from the back deck. We stayed in building 3 on the top floor and the view was wonderful but I think it's time to retire the deck chairs and replace them. The room itself was very clean but the furniture was tired, outdated and the t.v needs to be replaced. The... more

I booked a stay for two nights over Columbus Day weekend. When I arrived I was told that I could only stay one night because a busload was bumping confirmed guests from their rooms. They relocated me at another nearby motel that was absolutely horrendous. The musty smell was overpowering and the room was filthy . So much for a... more

I researched the perfect location for our 15th wedding anniversary. I booked the hotel on February 12, 2008 for our October stay. Three weeks before arriving, I called to verify our reservation. We were told all was well. I called again 3 days before we were to arrive to see if there was wifi available, there is, but only in... more

Huge room (we had a king) with a balcony overlooking the river. Fresh muffins and donuts from a local bakery (as well as the other usual continental breakfast items) It is true that there are some steps to manuver with luggage and the hallway smelled musty. That is not uncommon for a place near the water, tho, and the room... more

My family and I just got back from a quick 1 night stay at the Ogunquit River Plantation. It exceeded our expectations especially for the price. The view was beautiful. The free breakfast was also very generous- waffles, eggs, and fruit, among other things. It was very convenient to Ogunquit. The pool and hot tub were heated, which was great.... more

We arrived late (after 10PM) at the Ogunquit River Plantation and walked to the desk gave them our name and they handed us a key... simple as that. Our room was clean, quiet, but quite a walk from the parking lot. We got up the next morning to a beautiful view of the river inlet, the tide was up so... more

At first we were a little put off by some of the negative comments, but we agreed that we're always at least one star "more positive" than most reviewers. We were right! We booked online, off-season (but during peak leaf color!!!!!!!) for under $60/nt, which included a decent breakfast. So...here are the pros and cons... PROS: Room size, cleanliness, views,... more

We stayed here on a family reunion (13 people). We stayed on the lower level where our rooms opened to a large yard-like area overlooking an inlet. The kids played catch while the parents and grandparents visited on the patio and drank cool beverages. The pool was up the stairs and around the corner, and an excellent feature for the... more
