Stayed for two nights and would have stayed more just for Linda's wonderful breakfasts. Have you ever had croissant French toast....OMG what a treat. Jenny Holden room a little cramped but nice. Try for one of the bigger rooms. Dick was a real bonus. He seemed to know everything and everybody in Ogunquit. You must, I say must have the... More

We had an amazing weekend in Oguquit, in large part to the hospitality of Linda and Dick at 16 Beach. What a GREAT B&B! The room was perfect. The early morning coffee and pastry (made by Linda...from scratch) was awesome. A wonderful prelude to an amazing breakfast. We had a bread bowl with ham and egg along with asparagus. So... More

My husband & I spent the weekend at 16 Beach St. for our anniversary. It was not only our first visit to Ogunquit, but also to Maine and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Linda & Dick were the best hosts you could ask for. They gave us recommendations to local restaurants, all of which were fantastic... More

I just spent a week at 16 Beach Street Bed and Breakfast! Linda and Dick are the owners and they are extraordinary people who know what to do to make every guest happy. The best part is that they love what they do and it shows in all the kindnesses they extend to their guests. It is clear that they... More

We were blessed with a Gift Certificate to 16 Beach Street and boy, are we glad!! We have found our new hideaway (until we bring ALL of our friends!!)! We were greeted by the owners, Linda and Dick, in the warmest of ways and it only got more amazing from there! We had the Hattie Nagle room, with a gorgeous... More

Dick and Linda are always wonderful and welcoming. We have truly come to view them as a second family! The rooms are always nicely done up and the breakfasts are superb! We can't wait to see them again!

16 Beach Street B & B located yards a away from beautiful Ogunquit beach and near the Shore Road "gateway" leading to Perkins Cove. Dick and Linda were welcoming and gracious hosts who clearly enjoyed being innkeepers. Linda is an excellent cook and baker and we enjoy extended conversation with Dick while enjoying tasty breakfasts. We stayed in the Hattie... More

Spent two nights at this lovely inn. The absolute best location in all of Ogunquit! We arranged for a late check in since we were coming in on a Friday night from Connecticut. We were greeted by the inn keepers who were very kind and helpful. Our room was quaint, neat as a pin. We were given a recommendation for... More

This is truly an exceptional bed and breakfast-- not only because of its beautiful guest rooms, delicious breakfasts and perfect location, but also because of the people who own it. What makes this bed and breakfast so special are its innkeepers. Dick and Linda infuse their house with warmth and a welcome that's relaxed and easy going. We originally were... More

"Stay is a charming word in a friend's vocabulary." -Amos Bronson Alcott Our recent stay, in August 2013, at 16 Beach Street in Ogunquit, was indeed that - charming - as were its innkeepers, Linda and Dick. We were made to feel so much at home. Linda and Dick are consummate professionals with a love - and flair - for... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
16 Beach Street is a classic three-story New Englander style home built in 1920 by the Perkins family. We are a small intimate Inn with five bedrooms. Because of its close proximity to the Beach, the Inn is decorated like a beach house in bright cheery colors. The location of the Inn is ideal. The trolley stops right outside the door and we are within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, the beach and the Marginal Way. Full breakfasts are served every morning along with our signature home-made scones. ... more   less
