We stayed here for my husband's birthday last weekend - the inn is absolutely wonderful! The little touches all around from the innkeepers is just lovely - the room was spotless and beautifully decorated - very comfortable. The breakfast was just so delicious! Served in a beautiful atmosphere and great people watching! folks walk by and stare at you -... More

If you are looking for a prosaic Maine summer house with witty innkeepers who put you at ease, look no further. 16 Beach Street in Ogunquit is perfectly situated. You can see and smell the ocean from the top floor. You are steps away from the town of Ogunquit which is full of quaint shops and restaurants. Dick and Linda... More

This is our fourth summer stay at Dick and Linda's 16 Beach Street B&B. We have already checked our calendar for 2015 and look forward to our return. Ditto with other guests comments about the afternoon lemonade and sweet, AND the BREAKFASTS! Wish we could take the big wrap around porch home with us but then where would all of... More

I feel terrible that I haven't written a review until now. My husband and I go to Ogunquit every summer. We had tried out a different B&B and had had some negative experiences. Once we found 16 Beach Street we decided we had to keep coming back! We have gone 3 summers in a row now for long weekends. Dick... More

We stayed at 16 Beach Street for 3 nights and the whole experience was great. First location: the B&B is walking distance to the beach (less than 3 minutes) and to the main streets with restaurants and shops. Traffic is kind of challenging during the summer in Ogunquit so it was great not having to use the car at all;... More

We just returned from our three night stay for my mom's birthday. We had two of the five rooms. Dick and Linda are the best hosts you could ever ask for. We feel like family now. Breakfast was incredible every morning. Croissant French Toast. WOW!!!! Lemonade and cookies every day at 3PM sharp. They are both on duty 24/7 which... More

Stayed for two nights and would have stayed more just for Linda's wonderful breakfasts. Have you ever had croissant French toast....OMG what a treat. Jenny Holden room a little cramped but nice. Try for one of the bigger rooms. Dick was a real bonus. He seemed to know everything and everybody in Ogunquit. You must, I say must have the... More

We had an amazing weekend in Oguquit, in large part to the hospitality of Linda and Dick at 16 Beach. What a GREAT B&B! The room was perfect. The early morning coffee and pastry (made by Linda...from scratch) was awesome. A wonderful prelude to an amazing breakfast. We had a bread bowl with ham and egg along with asparagus. So... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
16 Beach Street is a classic three-story New Englander style home built in 1920 by the Perkins family. We are a small intimate Inn with five bedrooms. Because of its close proximity to the Beach, the Inn is decorated like a beach house in bright cheery colors. The location of the Inn is ideal. The trolley stops right outside the door and we are within walking distance to great shops, restaurants, the beach and the Marginal Way. Full breakfasts are served every morning along with our signature home-made scones. ... more   less
