Great location right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, but like other reviewers I must mention the shower stall is very small. My only other minor complaint was parking; it's very difficult to navigate around the small courtyard parking area, and difficult to find a space. If you can, once you find a spot don't move your car! They... More

We stay here for a 2 or 3 night getaway with our 2 kids during the summer. It may be the only hotel right on the beach in Ogunquit. We like the Dunes building which has a view northeastward up the beach and also overlooks the tidal river that runs behind the resort. The rooms are comfortable, neat and clean... More

We always stay here 2x a year in early spring and late fall when there are no bustling crowds. We stay in rooms directly on the ocean, pricey but worth it. Rooms are large, nicely appointed and very clean. All have small fridge and coffee maker( coffee is supplied and more upon request) Staff is friendly and helpful. When going... More

We have been staying here for the last 4 or 5 years over the Columbus Day weekend. Everyone is always very friendly. Housekeeping is fantastic. The room is always spotless. They renovated the room that we stay in and the bathroom/shower is wonderful. Plenty of room to move around in the shower. Always had breakfast at Huckleberry's. Food was excellent.... More

Nice place directly on the beach, beds comfortables, nice view on the sea, juste a little walk for going at the center of the village, and many restaurants are there. Probably go back, if it's possible.

We enjoyed our stay at the norseman very much. You would expect the only hotel in ogunquit on the beach would much more expensive, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great room, very clean, and a very friendly staff. We will be back!!!

Our first overnight trip to Ogunquit after many years of day trips and with so many places to choose from we did well to get to maximum beach time in two days. The rooms are not fancy and yes a little outdated but one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in. We were in a king room on the... More

The place is dated but you can't expect it to be fancy for the price you pay. The location is amazing, steps from the beach and town. The beach is wide and flat, firm sand perfect for running or walking. We had a room that had a slider to a common deck, overlooking a tidal river. That was perfect. The... More

We stayed in the Portside portion of this resort, which faces the ocean. This resort offers different buildings with different views, but all are at the main beach. The room was nice but for the price you would expect a little more, the bathroom was not as clean as you would expect and we stayed in a room with 2... More

It's not fancy, but it as what no other hotel has in Ogunquit ( it's right on the beach). It's clean, the people are friendly and like I mentioned in the title, it"s right on the beach. You can walk to the town center and get all you need. You must try the epicurean grocery, full of nice things to... More
