The hotel is located directly on beautiful Ogunquit beach. The room was clean, all the staff are pleasant. The furnishings are cheap and outdated. The bedding is polyester; no cotton was available even by request. The tiny refrigerator froze my food; no temp control. To reach the ancient ac / heater I had to stand on a chair. Off season... I come annually with my mother and 3 sisters and stay at the Norseman because the beach is just a few steps from our room, and good value. The service is always friendly and we have never had a complaint about anything

Always wanted to stay here because some of the rooms are right on a big surf beach, but not willing to pay the really high in season rates (and minimum stay). Finally grabbed a room in April at off season rates and liked it a lot. There are many different buildings, each with different view ranging from dumpy parking lot... More

Great location right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, but like other reviewers I must mention the shower stall is very small. My only other minor complaint was parking; it's very difficult to navigate around the small courtyard parking area, and difficult to find a space. If you can, once you find a spot don't move your car! They... More

We stay here for a 2 or 3 night getaway with our 2 kids during the summer. It may be the only hotel right on the beach in Ogunquit. We like the Dunes building which has a view northeastward up the beach and also overlooks the tidal river that runs behind the resort. The rooms are comfortable, neat and clean... More

We always stay here 2x a year in early spring and late fall when there are no bustling crowds. We stay in rooms directly on the ocean, pricey but worth it. Rooms are large, nicely appointed and very clean. All have small fridge and coffee maker( coffee is supplied and more upon request) Staff is friendly and helpful. When going... More

We have been staying here for the last 4 or 5 years over the Columbus Day weekend. Everyone is always very friendly. Housekeeping is fantastic. The room is always spotless. They renovated the room that we stay in and the bathroom/shower is wonderful. Plenty of room to move around in the shower. Always had breakfast at Huckleberry's. Food was excellent.... More

Nice place directly on the beach, beds comfortables, nice view on the sea, juste a little walk for going at the center of the village, and many restaurants are there. Probably go back, if it's possible.

We enjoyed our stay at the norseman very much. You would expect the only hotel in ogunquit on the beach would much more expensive, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great room, very clean, and a very friendly staff. We will be back!!!

Our first overnight trip to Ogunquit after many years of day trips and with so many places to choose from we did well to get to maximum beach time in two days. The rooms are not fancy and yes a little outdated but one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in. We were in a king room on the... More
