Well, simply put, this is pretty much your standard Maine coast Rt 1 motel. If you've stayed in one, you've pretty much stayed in them all as they are all remarkably similar. Clean, a little dated and worn, working mini-fridge and A/C, TV. Typical of what you find up and down Rt 1. This motel also has both an outdoor... more

We are regulars at Bourne's Motel. Shirley, Jon and the children are always warm, friendly and accommodating. We don't stay anywhere else. The rooms are large, very clean, and it is a nice walk down to the Footbridge Beach. I would HIGHLY recommend this location if you plan to visit and stay in Ogunquit, Me. It is a wonderful location... more

we stayed at Bourne's for 5 nights in Sept. 2008 and found the accomodations excellent. It was all we were looking for in our stay . The room was very clean with housekeeping daily, and seemed to have lots of room with the queen size bed. Had a fridge, iron and the internet worked fine, had no problem with my computer.... more

We went with my extended family to Bourne's earlier this month (June 08). Given the price, I was expecting a very bare bones establishment. Although it is not grand luxury, it surpassed my expectations in terms of amenities and cleanliness. Our rooms were very clean and modern. There was a fridge, a hairdryer and an iron. The personel was pleasant... more

Went to Ogunquit last minute in late fall (last day of Sept.) on a Saturday night with my wife and young son. Every other place was sold out, so not much of a choice. This place seemed ok, but I still wondered why it was the only place with a vacancy. Room was clean, beds were ok, indoor pool was... more

Finding a hotel online in this area is a bit dodgy. Many websites show sample hotel room pictures from various properties, but they are either obviously decades old or severely fuzzed out. I chose Bourne's because the picture was clear enough to see that there was no paneling or 1970's era furniture, which suggested the owner's had actually cared for... more

Room was clean. Easy access to the beach. On the cusp of "value," as I did not want to pay too much but still expected a clean room and decent service, along with a pool. Got all of these. The only trouble we had was the Internet was inconsistent, but the owner was very accommodating and made a few suggestions.... more

In the fall (2006), my boyfriend and I spent a wonderful weekend there (Actually Labor Day Weekend). We had an upstairs end room with a king size bed in the new building. What a huge room. The room is L shaped with a sleeper sofa (AND TV) in the L. portion, as well as a TV and frig, chairs &... more

We stayed from 6/12-6/14/07 in the newest building on the first level. Clean & quiet facilities; friendly owners. Provided helpful suggestions about where to eat in town. Could hear a shower turned on from somewhere in building but not bothersome. Forgot to print our SWA boarding passes the day before & Mrs. Bourne let me use the office computer. Room... more

Upon arrival into Ogunquit immediately went to Bourne's Motel (10:00 AM) and was warmly greeted and registered. Took room w/King size bed - room was extremely clean, above average size (like the fact that sink and hairdryer are outside bathroom itself giving more flexibility when getting ready) w/hair dryer, TV, small refrig, iron and full size ironing board - great... more
