During our recent visit to Ogunquit, we had the pleasure of staying at the Towne Lyne Motel. This is a small motel with a limited number of rooms, but they are in very good shape and have all the necessary amenities. Our check-in was easy and we learned about the various places to see in the city along with good... More

The room-rate caught my attention first -and my fellow wedding guests could only weep when I told them how much they didn't save staying at nearby inns and hotels. I was very impressed at how welcoming the property is; the fact that the inn-keeper proved himself to be fair-minded and a true gentleman before I even got there was only... More

I have no idea why the rating is so high on this place. The office area felt like you were walking into someone’s personal office rather than a motel office. The rooms were clean but the furniture style is extremely dated. Our bedding, bedspreads and towels were all colored (most places use only white now so you know it’s clean).... More

Obviously from this person's review they frequent chain hotels/motels. White towels do not necessarily mean clean. Dated furniture does not mean eye sore. From past reviews and personal comments, our clientele love the feel of a homey atmosphere (dated furniture) and know one when they see it. We've never had anything but rave reviews from our guests as to the... More

By far, the best motel ever. The owners are so gracious and the place inside and out is immaculate. The motel has a homelike atmosphere. There are so many details about the room and grounds. There are lounge chairs, bird houses, a gazebo in the back. The room has a rocking chair, a Keurig coffee maker It is very quiet... More

First time at this motel. The unit was so clean. We rented the kitchenette. The kitchenette area is a very tight space but you can get the job done. The bathroom is pretty tight too but functional. The motel has a vintage flair to it. Feels homey. The grounds are awesome. So meticulously done. The price was reasonable. Even with... More

We have stayed at the Towne Lyne twice now in the same room (Room 6) and had the same wonderful experience. Our beautiful, homey space was just as we remembered it, with windows facing the river; a shell-shaped pedestal sink; fresh, sweetly scented sheets; slider rockers, light-tight curtains, and a very quiet location. If you are looking for a home... More

My wife and I first started staying at the Towne Lyne Motel about 3 years ago, and I'm finally going to write a review. First, I will start by saying that there is no pool, or breakfast served to this motel, but that's fine with us. They do have Keurig coffee makers in each room, and supply 3 K-cups each... More

We found this lovely motel last October, and were happy to return this September. It is close to everything we enjoy, especially the Ogunquit Playhouse and Perkins' Cove. It is so clean and pretty, and the view out back is so restful. Of course the glider rockers got plenty of use again this visit! I loved being greeted by the... More
