Don't be lulled into thinking you want to stay here because you are close to the beach. Find somewhere else to stay such as the Pink Blossom or the Colonial Inn. My wife and I stayed in an efficiency on the 2nd floor. Here's the problems we encountered: * There were 4-5 vertical blinds missing from the sliding glass door.... More

We paid $240 a night for a king bed efficiency. When we walked in, we thought we stepped into the 1960's. While the room was a good size (and clean), the kitchen had metal rust colored cabinets, the bathroom was so small that when you open the door, it hits the toilet. Six vertical blinds were missing when we checked... More

I had made a reservation for one of their "renovated" rooms in the summer building : fresh coat of paint, new carpet and "new" bathroom. Exit de bathtub. Reused toilet. Since I have two young kids, I asked to be switched in a non-renovated room. Chipped walls. Stinky carpets. Mildew of shower curtain. Visible hairs from previous guests apparent everywhere... More

I have been going to Ogunquit every summer for about 25 years. I have always stayed in the same place which I won't mention here. This year I decided to try a new place and my goal was to stay as close to the beach as possible. I chose the Aspinquid after walking or driving past it for many years.... More

Okay, so this place hasn't seen an update since 1956. Maybe that I could tolerate, but it only sees a housekeeper for about 4 minutes per day. Detritus from previous tenants was present when we arrived, and still present when we departed 2 days later. The room smelled musty. Check in time is 3pm. The housekeeping staff showed up at... I really tried to overlook the glaring deficiencies here this year but I just can't do it. Our room was so bad I cannot see us returning. Like others have said the location is great. Park in the lot and never need to move your car again. But even with the parking craziness of Ogunquit it is no longer enough... More

For $250/night + tax (no breakfast, no coffee maker in the room), you get a spacious king size bedroom, balcony, kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge and dishes), and simple bathroom with bath/shower, and an important commodity in Ogunquit: a parking space. You will not need your car again, especially if you like to walk, or take public transit. The good: location!... More

We are long time dedicated customers of this property, since the 1980's. The condition drastically changed with a series of ownership takeovers since 1990 and since Lafayette Hotels, has acquired, little to no improvement has occurred. Despite the most spectacular view, awesome location and friendly management, this is what our experience was this month: stains on mattress and quilts, broken... More

Simply a great location combined with an extremely pleasant front desk staff make for the perfect Ogunquit stay. We were extremely satisfied with our clean room and private balcony. There was a kitchenette in the room which is a nice but unnecessary amenity for us as we like to eat out at local establishments while on vacation. This would be... More

On our way home and decided to review while in traffic! The traffic was the only wrinkle in our Ogunquit getaway! The weather was perfect and this hotel is just two minutes walking to get to the beautiful main beach! We had a two room suite which suited our family perfectly! Wendy at the desk said it was renovated last... More
