Each December we love to visit the Ogunquit, Maine region for some Holiday shopping and afternoon walks along the ocean. Seacastles has been our inn of choice because of its great location and very fair rates for a large, comfortable room during the off-season. About halfway between Kittery and Kennebunk Port means that these locations are in easy reach for... More

We decided to give Seacastles another chance since we last stayed there in December 2012. This experience was not quite as bad but still qualifies as terrible. We got one of their “suites” and the first thing of note is that there is a common entrance to multiple units and the door to the common entrance blocks the door to... More

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were so spacious. Almost like an apartment. Although older, everything was really clean, and the place is family owned. Only a short walk to the shore, and it is right next to an awesome breakfast place. Right in the middle of where you want to be. Had an amazing stay!

The room was comfy and the location was excellent. Very friendly staff. Our room was ready at 11:00 a.m. and we were able to get in. It was nice to not have to wait until 3:00p.m. to check in and unload. They definitely need to work on the indoor pool. The bottom of the pool is covered in green, so... More

the location cannot be beat, directly across from the marginal way within walking distance to all shops, restaurants and the beach. the room was spacious, livingroom, bedroom, partial kitchen and large balcony. the staff was friendly and accommodating and the grounds were beautiful. as written in other reviews the furnishings need to be updated, but they are comfortable. the only... I was there end of April. Its a place I enjoy in the out season. The premisses are clean. The rooms are ok and its nice to enjoy a meal in the room relaxing. But above all its the location! Just across from the marginal way, the very helpful staff when there is a problem, walking in town, being close... More

We had a great room with small kitchenette and front porch with small view of ocean, across the street. Denise, the manager, was very helpful and suggested a great restaurant next door Blueberries which had an awesome Tapas made by a new chef Daniel from Bulgaria. This place is right across the street from the beautiful Marginal Way and a... More

Stayed at this resort two years in a row. Located across the street from the Marginal Way, walking distance to Perkins Cove. Quaint downtown shoppes within walking distance. Loved that fact that our bedroom was separate from the living room. Bed was not as comfortable as we like but it was satisfactory. Nice that we had a refrigerator and microwave... More

Stayed here 1 night in October. Very convenient location, room was clean, front desk very polite. The room did smell alittle funky, but we just opened the windows to air it out. Did not use the pool. We stayed in a studio. Don't know what the rest of the rooms were like, but would definitely stay here again.

Bottom line: if we come after Labor Day again, we will stay here again. We've been coming to Ogunquit since 2004 and being near the Main Street, Beach Street, Shore Road intersection is where you want to be. (See other reviews for that!) Having said that, you will pay the price for staying anywhere within a half mile radius and... More
