We have been visiting Seacastle for the last 20 years but it seems the premises look more and more tired. The pool area is now enclosed, very dark, stuffy and noisy. Who wants to sit in there on a hot summer day. The outside jacuzzi is out of service and is showing clear signs of being very old. The rooms... More

We have been staying here for visits, every year, for 4 years. Sometimes 3 visits in one year. The rooms are clean, close to everything important to us (beach, restaurants ), and a great value. We like having a suite, versus just having a room with a bed and bathroom.

It was not our first time at this place and as usual everything was fine and correct. The interior is a little dated but everything is clean and works well. The price for this location is interesting. Will go back. Very good service at the front desk.

We chose Sandcastles since we stayed at the Norseman last year and knew they were owned jointly and had a good time. Upon arrival, check in was a breeze and not to mention early. Our room was perfect including a fridge, stove top and microwave (all of which we didn't expect). Walking distance to Main Street and plenty of parking.... More

We stayed here through a weekend package that included dinner and breakfast at local restaurants. The price for the room and meals could not be beat and for that this is an ideal off season destination if you have the chance. You are in walking distance to the beach, marginal way, shops and restaurants. We stayed in a suite, which... More

We have stayed here several times and like it enough to have called in a reservation for our annual Ogunquit winter trip several weeks in advance. When I made the reservation I asked for our usual room near the indoor pool and said that the last time we were there they closed it for maintenance before we left. They assured... More

Each December we love to visit the Ogunquit, Maine region for some Holiday shopping and afternoon walks along the ocean. Seacastles has been our inn of choice because of its great location and very fair rates for a large, comfortable room during the off-season. About halfway between Kittery and Kennebunk Port means that these locations are in easy reach for... More

We decided to give Seacastles another chance since we last stayed there in December 2012. This experience was not quite as bad but still qualifies as terrible. We got one of their “suites” and the first thing of note is that there is a common entrance to multiple units and the door to the common entrance blocks the door to... More

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were so spacious. Almost like an apartment. Although older, everything was really clean, and the place is family owned. Only a short walk to the shore, and it is right next to an awesome breakfast place. Right in the middle of where you want to be. Had an amazing stay!

The room was comfy and the location was excellent. Very friendly staff. Our room was ready at 11:00 a.m. and we were able to get in. It was nice to not have to wait until 3:00p.m. to check in and unload. They definitely need to work on the indoor pool. The bottom of the pool is covered in green, so... More
