My husband and I have been staying at the Grand Hotel for as long as I can remember. We visit a minimum of twice a year and have never had a reason to complain about the service or accomodations. All the rooms are suites that are clean, comfortable and spacious. In fact within the last two years many updates have... more

This place is nothing like their website presents. The room was dark and dirty. Management is rude. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. more

We stayed from May 16-18th, 2009 to celebrate our anniversary. Although the weather was gruesome, we had a great time. This is our third stay at The Grand Hotel and we couldn't be happier with the friendliness of the staff, especially Devon. The package price included an excellent meal at Clay Hill Farm and a lovely welcome gift of a... more

I have stayed at this property previously without complaint, but things have changed. This property is in need of a facelift both inside and out! My friends and I were disheartened with this property's lack of progression in a time when other properties in the area have excelled. Their "breakfast" is similar to a Holiday Inn Express, but at a... more

The hotel is unassuming in its appearance and that may be a good thng depending on your taste. I'm sure every savy traveler knows by now that the pictures you see on a properties web site and the way those same pictures are in reality are two different images. That is true here as anywhere. The lobby is simple with... more

The Grand Hotel was recommended to us by my parents. This place was exactly what we were looking for and needed. The hotel location was right next to the waterfront area called Perkins Cove. The suites were spacious and very clean. Staff was helpful and professional. Prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed a long weekend of rest and relaxation. I... more

My college roomate and I always spend a few days in Maine in the summer and usually stay at different spots. (We leave our husbands home and do a "girls time.") We enjoyed the Grand. What we especially liked was the fact that all rooms are two- bedroom types with two televisions. There is ample space in each. The beds... more

Just had to share my unique experience at the Grand Hotel in Ogunquit Maine. WOW .....What a fabulous impression to walk into this hotel and see the beautiful lobby, classy decor and soothing music to put you right into the vacation "mode". We were greeted at check-in by extremely gracious and friendly employees who went out of their way to... more

This used to be the best kept secret in Ogunquit....until....their attitude to their customer service changed. This used to be a reliable, clean hotel where customer service mattered. It now appears that it is all "about the money." I don't want to get into our issues too deeply here...each person needs to decide how much they like this hotel for... more

My wife and I visited the Grand during mid-week and enjoyed the hotel and the convenience to town. A five minute walk in either direction has you in the center of town or at the ocean's edge. The hotel is clean, quiet and charming. Everyone we met from the hotel was very nice and accomodating. We did not ask for... more
