"Penthouse Suite" means third floor two small rooms. King size bed took up the entire bedroom. Fireplace uses a deraflame log. No view. Good 10 minute walk to Perkins Cove or 20 minutes to Main Street. One great TV one lousy TV. Bathroom drop ceiling too low. Ripoff for $149/night. more

We booked a weekend in a suite at the Grand in April for the season opening weekend. We arrived late on a Friday evening, and the check in process went very smoothly. We have young children, and the manager was kind enough to supply us with yogurt, bagels and snacks assuming our children woke up before breakfast was officially served... more

The best thing about this hotel is its central location. You can park your car for free and walk almost everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms are dark and very tired. The continental breakfast is laughable; the muffins and bagels are store bought and not in great abundance. The rates are very high for what... more

We have stayed in Ogunquit before and this time chose the Grand for its suite accommodations. An excellent choice!! The Grand is close to everything, just steps from Perkins Cove, good restaurants in town and the Cove and close to Ogunguit's cute shops, and beach. The Grand offers large, comfy, immaculately clean suites, two televisions in each (should anyone want... more

Made a reservation, then changed our mind within 1/2 hour. Cancellation fee of $25.00 which was never mentioned during booking. Sign of things to come if we had actually stayed there? I'm glad we didn't have to find out. more

I've stayed in Oqunquit over 60 times in 30 years and in a dozen of different hotels. The Grand Hotel offers nice rooms at a nice price. It has underground parking and an indoor pool. If you've spent any time on the beach in Maine you would know that the weather doesn't always co-operate. We really enjoyed the pool on... more

I was recommended to stay here because this motel has suites so I could take my mother and not have to pay a fortune for an extra room. Well I understand that during the summer, a touristy beach town in Maine will be expensive, but at least you'd get what you pay for, not here. It was just like staying... more

My husband and I have been staying at the Grand Hotel for as long as I can remember. We visit a minimum of twice a year and have never had a reason to complain about the service or accomodations. All the rooms are suites that are clean, comfortable and spacious. In fact within the last two years many updates have... more
