Stayed for one night - July 3rd. The room was clean and simple. Not a great location if you want to be near the action, but a very family friendly place. more

This was my first stay at the Mariner and everything positive that was written about this location is true. We rented 2 singles and the family suite. Each room was squeaky clean and the property is extemely well maintained and landscaped. The pool area and the pool were cleaned daily. You can't beat the location as it is central to... more

When I title '"Inexpensive" what I mean is, it's a very nice, comfy and CLEAN motel with WIFI and it's not outrageously priced. We've stayed in motels that are at or around the same price, and they were not as beautifully decorated and as CLEAN as this motel. It's very quiet at night and cozy. I definitely recommend this motel... more

We’ve Stayed Many Times, Never Disappointed Dollar for dollar The Mariner is the best value (for families) in Ogunquit. We’ve stayed at cheaper places and been disappointed and disgruntled. We’ve also paid room rates more than twice those of The Mariner just to have the staff treat us like we were doing them a favor by staying there. Yet, we’ve... more

The Mariner is like a home away from home. We stay here at least 4-5 times a year, in every season they are open. We used to stay at bigger named, pricer places but now we can't imagine staying anywhere else. The Manager Scott and his family are about the nicest people you could ever meet and every time we... more

When we planned a recent trip to Ogunquit, we decided to stay at The Mariner Resort based on the favorable reviews it got here on TripAdvisor. We certainly made a good choice. We originally booked two nights, but liked The Mariner so much, and found so many fun things to do in the area, that we extended our stay to... more

Again, after many return trips back to the Mariner Resort, we booked our long Columbus Day weekend getaway there. We keep going back because of the great people who both own and run the inn. They are friendly and treat you like family. Each room is spotless, and there are constantly upgrades going on in each of the rooms- from... more

My wife and I stayed two nights. Nice stay. Room was a good size and clean and neat. Had a microwave and a refrigerator. It has an outdoor pool (unheated), an enclosed heated pool, and an outdoor good size heated jaccuzi. We stayed on the second floor and it was a chore getting the bags up (no elevator). I recommend... more

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Mariner for 2 nights last week. Received a great price, mid-week and had perfect weather for the 3 days there. Our room was located on the 2nd floor, which was not a problem for us. But for those that have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a room on the first floor.... more

The Mariner Resort is a basic 1970's style motel in sore need of an update. The location is good, next to a trolley stop that goes to town and the beach. The room does come with a decent sized refrigerator and microwave. Beds are comfortable. However, other items are lacking. The management seems to be keeping a tight rein on... more

We appreciate your business and thank you for trying our resort on your last stay. However I do need to respond to some of your concerns. We are the process of updated all of our rooms by which we hope to finish by the Spring of 2010. The room that you stayed in was not one of the rooms that...
