A very quite clean place within walking distance to the center of town. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is just a few steps away. The beds were extremely comfortable. The desk staff (I think they were the owners) are very friendly and welcomed us with enthusiasm. We'll definitely be back!

Front desk staff was pleasant. Room was very beachy and beautiful. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially when covered with the soft, fluffy comforter. Amazing area, will definitely go again.

A small hotel, but very comfortable and nice. Not to pricey like the rest of Ogunquit. A 10 minutes walk brings you to the city center with all the shops and restaurant. Worth every penny. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel.

I've been lodging at the Stage Run for over 20 years now. Debbie, the proprietor is very friendly and is pleasant. The rooms have always been immaculate and the beds are the best sleep I've gotten in a long time. The pool is very well maintained and the location is central to everything. Love it here......................

Stage Run by the Sea has been my family's choice for lodging for over 25 years now. Everything about the place feels like home; from the warm greeting we receive from the owner each time we arrive, to the absolutely spotless rooms with the most comfortable beds I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on! They have made some... More

I was greeted with a courteous smile at the desk. My rooms were very clean, promptly made up in the morning and centrally located to the beautiful town of Ogunquit and all the restaurants/attractions. Parking was ample. Pool was kept clean and quite refreshing. We appreciated the no-smoking areas. Beds were comfortable. QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Reduced rates" as advertised still means USD 150 excl. tax and breakfast in a room that was up to standard maybe some 20 years ago. The TV still dates from then and the fridge is very noisy. It was clean though and had a pool in which one is not supposed to swim. The furniture is outdated. The worst stay... More

I'm sorry that the guest felt this way but I would like to address his issues with my establishment: 1. Off-season, our rates are discounted versus our In-season rates, and we like to let the customers know this fact. The "Reduced Rates" sign is taken in once season starts. When this guest was here, it was a holiday weekend and... More

We love Ongunquit and have used the Stage Run multiple times and years. No frills, just solid. Always found it quiet. Clean. The heating and air conditioning unit is wonderfully efficient and reliable,- often not the case with economy rooms. Convenient walk (10 minutes at speed between brisk and saunter) to the downtown, right on route 1.

We just got back from 5 days in Maine. My husband & I always stay at Stage Run by the Sea........once or twice a year for probably 10 years. The rooms are immaculate & Deb, the owner is friendly & welcoming. It is just a short distance to Ogunquit Center with a trolley stop right in front.
