The best place to stay on the ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves and watching the sun come up it just doesn't get any better. I would recommend the Victorian house although the rooms maybe smaller the location is the best.

We have been vacationing in the Victorian building of The Beachmere Inn for decades. We have stayed in rooms on each floor over the years. Those on the 'first' floor are in better shape with updated baths than those on the 'second' and 'third' floors. After our most recent stay with family this summer, I fear for The Beachmere. Something... More

We stayed here for two nights with our two young boys. The suite option in the West building was perfect for us. A trundle bed/daybed was ideal for the littles. 1st floor with a balcony made coming and going easy. The view of the ocean was gorgeous! Clean, modern, nice continental breakfast. We couldn't have been happier!

This is our favorite place to stay in Ogunquit. Beautiful grounds, right on the Marginal Way and fantastic view of the ocean from our room! I was also able to do a Yoga Class on the grounds, which I always enjoy. The only disappointment was that since the last time we stayed here, they started serving dinner. And one night... More

Beautiful location on marginal way. Walk to everything! Room 18 ion the Victorian was nice with some view of the ocean. The staff were all accommodating and answered all questions with a smile. This place has been here forever so cabinets in the room were a bit out of date, but new furniture, good mattress and small kitchen were just... More

The Beachmere Inn is truly the Grande Dame of Ogunquit, dominating the Ogunquit River and the miles long beach, and directly on the Marginal Way. I've been coming to the Beachmere for over 40 years of the Inn's 75 years and love it more every time. Beachmere is classic, comfortable old New England but is thoroughly 21st Century up to... More

Just came home from our 12th stay at the beachmere inn. We love ogunquit beach and our time at the beachmere. We always stay in rooms 211 or 212. There is a separate bedroom and living room that has a balcony with ocean views. We make full use of the mini kitchen and cook most of our meals to save... More

This is was our second time staying in Room 17. It's the perfect space with an awesome deck with an oceanview. The staff is friendly and the continental breakfast provides an easy daily morning meal to get you ready for the day. Access the Marginal Way and to Little Beach is key as you don't have to walk to the... More

We just spent six glorious nights in room 12, in the Victorian at the Beachmere Inn in Ogunquit, Maine. This is our fifth or sixth stay at this incredible place. This visit was a celebration of my 60th birthday, and I can't think of anywhere else on earth I'd rather be! The room is comfortable and has all amenities needed... More

Having just returned from our first visit to Ogunquit, if we ever visit again, we will definitely choose the Beachmere Inn again. The location is perfect. Takes 2 minutes to start your walk down Main Street through the town's shops and restaurants from the Inn. Takes 0 minutes to get on the Marginal Way and start your walk to Perkins... More
