Our first stay at The Beachmere Inn although we've been coming to the Ogunquit area for 25 years. We loved the Beachmere. Because they weren't too busy when we came (November), they gave us a free up-grade to suites. This was perfect for us (great grandparents) and for our 2 year old great grandson and his parents. The rooms looks... More

We checked in mid week for a short (2 night stay). It was fairly late so the view was not evident. Front desk staff was great - in fact everyone at the Beachmere Inn is great. They must hire for personality because every one was perfectly charming. The next morning, we discovered that the ocean was at our back door.... More

This was our second stay at the Beachmere and our first in the winter. We stayed in the Victorian, room 5. Terrace level which would be awkward in season bc people walk right outside your room! But the view of the ocean was great. Comfy bed and massive bathroom. Breakfast still has the most amazing homemade granola ever!!! However, had... More

I have only stayed here in the winter with the ocean crashing and the wind howling. I have stayed in the 1 bedroom suite facing the beach which in the winter is a very good value. The rooms are spacious, comfy beds and a small kitchenette. The bathroom is a really good size. The staff is very friendly and helpful.... More

My wife and I decided we would like to ditch the "Black Friday" madness with a weekend getaway in Ogunquit, so we booked a couple of nights at the Beachmere. The location is great; right on the edge of the ocean on Shore Road. Our second floor room in the Beachmere West building was spacious with plenty of windows and... More

We booked this hotel for the Thanksgiving weekend and found it surprisingly busy. No wonder it is popular - the location is right on the ocean, there is an inviting bar/restaurant, the staff is friendly, and our room was lovely. Nicely designed and comfortable, quiet, with a spectacular beach view. A walkway leads to the Marginal Way, an amazing walking... More

As you first walk in you are welcomed by a warm staff and gas fireplace. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the rooms were clean with modern amenities. Each morning there was a continental breakfast which was lovely. What impressed most was the friendly and accommodating staff. They made the visit so much more pleasant. There is a small jacuzzi... We have been visiting Ogunquit for our anniversary weekend in November for years, but have never stayed at The Beachmere before. What a spectacular place! The room was spacious, had heated floors in the foyer and bathroom, and included all the amenities. It was nice having a restaurant on site, and we enjoyed dinner at the Inn both Friday and... More

This is one of the best hotels in the area (we have tried many). They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and take care of all of your needs and is located directly on the ocean with access to the marginal way. Don't hesitate to stay here, you will not regret it.

We have gone to Ogunquit in the past, but never stayed at the Beachmere Inn. When friends recommended it, I went on line & checked it out. We very impressed. We went for our 45th anniversary. We think we had the best room in the house, the view was amazing. It was great having a restaurant & bar on the... More
