We just returned from a wonderful week stay at The Beachmere Inn. The location is excellent - AMAZING view of the ocean - and walkable to all the main Ogunquit attractions (the beach, Perkins Cove, town, The Marginal Way). We stayed in the brand-new room 107 with our 13 month old and the setup was terrific. The king size bed... more

We just returned home from a wonderful 8 night stay at The Beachmere Inn. The room was large with a king bed and a very functional kitchen area. The view of the ocean was just perfect and it was just a 10 minute walk to the center of town. No need to bring extra outside seating as we had a... more

This is our 10th year at the Beachmere. That alone should tell you what an enjoyable stay we've had (every year). They have added a few more conveniences for guests from a hot tub and spa (you have to book an outside service, but it was incredible and worth it), to a gym and, best of all, a small pub... more

We just came back from a 4 night stay at the Beachmere. It was our first trip to Maine, and we loved it. I didn't want a big kids scene or pool, just wanted to be near the water, and have a nice hotel and the Beachmere was that and more! My husband and 10 year old children loved going... more

Important to note, given some other reviews here, that everything has been recently or is currently being renovated. Our room, Room 15, was completely refinished 3 weeks prior to our stay. The room is in an older building but you could never tell based on how new everything is. The room was beautiful. The beds comfortable. The efficiency kitchen perfect... more

Everyone, from Sarah the owner to Aaron, Grace and Jamie in the office , and the rest of the staff , coupled with clean, comfortable rooms in a beautiful ocean view setting, provided my wife and I the perfect place to enjoy our 49th. We have been vacationing in Oqunquit for twenty odd years and have to say, the Beachmere... more

We have stayed at the Beachmere on a few occasions .Our last stay was unbalanced and quite disappointing. One of our rooms was in the original building and was tiny, beyond shabby,it was not clean and had a mildew problem,There was someone else's hair in the shower...yech.The loveseat was stained and too worn out to be placed anywhere but the trash... more

Ideal location on Marginal Way for walking to perkins Cove, Ogunquit Center and morning walks on the beach. We actually stayed in Room 10 on September 8 & 9. The covered porch was ideal when the showers came and the living room and bedroom TV's allowed us to not disturb the early to bed people. If the sofa bed was... more

We just got back from a fabulous week in Ogunquit. We have been going for several years but this is the first time that we stayed at the Beachmere. The location is fabulous, the rooms were clean and the Congdon's doughnuts that were served every morning sealed the deal! We had a room in the building adjacent to the main... more

Overall, a nice place. The location was perfect as you could walk to everything including good restaurants, the town beach, the town itself, Perkins Cove, etc. Hike Marginal Way during sunset, you won't be disappointed. This was our first stay at the hotel so we didn't have the luxury of knowing what the rooms were like. Don't choose Room 10... more
