Ate here for a quiet romantic dinner and the atmosphere did not disappoint. Prices are reasonable and food was good. Service was professional and exceptional. Before dinner, instead of a bread basket we were asked if we would like bread, and were each given one SMALL piece of Italian type bread. We just looked at each other and laughed. The... More

This is the second year in a row I've stayed at Old Village Inn. It's probably THE most affordable place to stay in Ogunquit, at least that I've found. A giant plus that they are in the center of town - you can walk to the beach, there's free parking and Wi-Fi, located right next to anything you'll need. No... More

This Inn is situated right in the center of town so it's very close to all the best restaurants, the village market and shops. I'm not a big believer in the paranormal but supposedly the inn is haunted which for me translates to historic. They take the traditional New England inn feel very seriously which makes for a great atmosphere.... More

Stopped in for a peek, and was amazed at the ambiance of the candlelit pub with antiques and brick walls. We went in and sat among candelit tables. We enjoyed some drinks. The prices were very reasonable, which is a plus. The pub menu looked great. We will return....what a charming find this is! Enjoy the pub for a drink... More

The instant you walk through the door it feels like you have been transported to an earlier time. First you notice the warm décor of the porch on the right nicely set up for an intimate meal. Every table, except one, is set up next to a window which provides a view of Main Street. The tables have deep seat... More

Very charming and quintessential New England style inn with THE BEST restaurant in downtown Ogunquit. Charles, the Innkeeper is the best. Mike, the bartender is hilarious. Marsha is a superb server; everyone is so warm & friendly. The bar is a nice hangout; very down to earth and sincere people. Will stay again!

My spouse and I just returned from an overnight stay (Sunday, October 12) from the OVI. A friend of ours had recommended it to us several times. We were looking for a place for just one night (other places required a 2 or 3 night stay). We have reserved a room with a dinner package and upon check in we... More

We were looking for a place for one night off season just to get away for the weekend. Great location in center of town at a great price. Overall a good experience but place needed some TLC. There was plenty of room for 2 as we had a Bedroom with A/C and a living room with a portable A/C. The... More

I couldn't have been happier with my room at Old Village Inn. It is right in the center of town so easy walk for coffee, Marginal Way, beach...everything at your doorstep. And the balcony and view from Room 6 are better than hotels charging twice the price. The room though is very dated so if you are looking for luxury... More

Outdated, dirty, and poor service. That’s what we experienced at The Old Village Inn. Upon checking in to the OVI it was obvious that the hotel was poorly maintained and there were guest service issues. It started when we had to walk through the employee smoking section to get to the check-in desk. Employees, guests, and the owner of the... More
