After a couple delays earlier in the year, we finally made it to our favorite B&B over the Columbus Day weekend. Our stay was only for two nights but the time we spent there was a much needed and much enjoyed "get away". Jim and his staff couldn't be more welcoming and hospitable. The inn is spotless and with the... More

We have stayed at the Nautilus a number of times but this was the first with the new owners. We arrived late but had alerted staff. There is a phone in kitchen and one of the owners came over to welcome us. Jim was most friendly and the changes that have been made were most impressive. There is the breakfast... More

We are hotel people and B&B's just aren't our thing. But the Nautilus has gone a long way to change all of that. We recently stayed at this quaint beach-side Inn as part of a group of six couples, all on an adventure. We are used to bright and shiny, but this extraordinary stay was a leisurely trip into a... The Nautilus by the Sea is a wonderful escape from daily life to the magic of the beautiful Maine beach and charm of coastal village Ocean Park. Truly the way life should be! Outstanding breakfast and service above and beyond our expectations. Bikes and boogie boards for the kids. Immaculate room. A great fire pit in the yard with the... More

This is a B&B literally right on the beach at Ocean Park, a "suburb" of Old Orchard Beach. The best thing about this place is its location and unobstructed view of the beach. OP is a dry community, so you can BYOB to its restaurants (see Yellowfin Restaurant Review). The View from the upper floors is right out on the... More

Dear Mr. and Mrs. P, We are sorry you had such a disappointing experience at The Nautilus; we tried to accommodate you at short notice. Guests love that room, and have been returning for years, but obviously, it was not the room for you. Your short 12 hour stay did not allow you to enjoy The Nautilus. But you're right!... More

We were looking for the perfect vacation spot on the Maine coast, and found it at the Nautilus in Ocean Park. This place is a gem—charming, welcoming, and quiet. Breakfast every day is a treat— freshly baked bread, fresh fruit, Resa’s amazing French toast brulee, breakfast quesadillas, and Jim’s Seattle Egg Bake were just awesome. The beach is just out... We had a wonderful time at the Nautilus. We stayed at the Nautilus in August. Very close to the beach, 30 second walk! We stayed in the basement apartment. Room was very clean. We were a family of 4 and it was a tight squeeze but the proved a blowup mattress for our 7 year old. If you have older... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Nautilus with my sister and her family of 5. We stayed in rooms 4 and 5. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The view from room 5 is amazing. Jim and Resa made delicious breakfast daily, including fresh hot bread every morning. The common areas of the b&b have been... More

Loved the nautilus for a recent stay. We were staying there because the family cottage was too full and it was great for coming and going. Not overbearing at all, but we could tell that the people who hung around really enjoyed each other's co.

My family just spent three nights in the Nautilus and we absolutely loved it. I picked the Nautilus for the location and price because we had a family wedding to go to nearby over the weekend. What I wasn't counting on was the level of hospitality and service. The owner Jim, and manager Resa made the Nautilus the best B&B... More
