We met Bobby and Sherry on Isla Holbox in Mexico - where we were trying to find a TV that would bring in the winter olympics gold medal game with Canada. Bobby is an inn-keeper and Boston hockey fan and with his wife Sherry are a wonderful couple - lots of stories and good listeners, too. As winter retreats go,... More

Situated in a quiet residential area on a mill pond in Damariscotta Mills, this little inn has much to offer. A historic building, lovingly restored, with all the character and charm you would expect. We stayed on the third floor, in a well-proportioned room filled with light from the large window overlooking the pond, and what a view it is!... More

We had a great weekend! Highly recommend this B & B for a getaway to Maine. The house is situated among one of the prettiest backdrops I've ever seen....it has a very relaxing atmosphere and comfortable, well appointed rooms. The best part are the owners Sherrie & Bobby who always have GREAT stories about Maine, Damariscotta, or just about any... More

I can not say enough about this wonderful inn. I'm not usually a B&B kind of person (or so I thought). This place it's awesome. Clean, quiet, and very quaint without being cloying or schlockey. The main building dates from 1780 and every room has a fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, rooms are light and airy. Bobby and Sherry... More

What an awesome trip to Mill Pond!! Sherry and Bobby are such amazing/unbelievable hostess and host! My boyfriend and I had been dying to go to Oxbow so we looked around to see what b&b's were in the area. I am so happy we went with Mill Pond. Not only is it close by to Oxbow, but it's in the... My son and I stayed here on our cycling trip through Maine in August. What a wonderful find! The inn is a beautiful old house lovingly restored and is situated on a small pond next to a larger lake. Imagine how refreshing it was to jump into the pond after 10 hours on our bikes! Sherry and Bobby are gracious... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay at the Mill Pond Inn. The host and hostess were warmly welcoming. They are passionate about what they do. Sherry and Bobby have lived in Damariscotta for over 20 years, thus they are extremely knowledgable about the attractions and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed their company and the many stories they had... More

A group of 9 good friends selected Mill Pond Inn for our annual short vacation together. We needed five rooms, the Inn has five, and we took over the whole Inn for five nights near the end of August. We happened to have nearly perfect weather, the Inn is in a beautiful spot and the host and hostess (Bobby and... More

This is a gem. Beautiful setting, beautiful old (and surprisingly big!) house, owners who care. I agree 100 percent with comments by Becky S, SouthDakotaGirl and msburd. This is hidden away but also near good restaurants and other activities. The bookstore/cafe in Damariscotta is also fantastic with a surprisely full array of books. clearly the folks in this area love... More

We've stayed here several times and it's been wonderful every time. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, pleasant in every way. Good , substantial breakfast. Sherry and Bobby are incredibly welcoming and helpful about anything we ask for, or any information we need. The setting is just about perfect. Swimming right off the dock in the front yard. A canoe... More
