My wife and I have been coming to this peninsula of Maine for many years now. We usually stay with family in Round Pond but circumstances this year prevented that so we needed a hotel that suited us. We selected this hotel from the website - the reviews were mixed but we booked it anyway. For those of you who... More

My daughter and I stayed in the Pilot House which is a repurposed boat pilot house. It has a cozy built in double bed, a well outfitted kitchenette complete with dishes, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and a cute, small bathroom with a corner, glassed-in shower. Best however is the screened porch with charming wicker furniture. The ceilings are low so... More

Love the bungalows,, wifi is a hit or miss, very relaxing, I've stayed here every year for the last 5 years. Love going to the lighthouse to watch the waves crash on to the rocks. They have fresh coffee every morning on the front porch,

I rented the 4 bedroom cottage for friends and family earlier this month (June). Having been advised it is "rustic," we weren't sure what to expect but were immediately reassured when we saw it. As my niece put it, it was just like visiting a favorite aunt and uncle's farmhouse! There were a few cool nights and we really appreciated... More

I love this hotel. It is graceful and charming and the location is spectacular. I stayed in a bungalow room which was quite spacious and comfortable. It does not have all the amenities of a larger hotel but what you sacrifice is greatly replaced by the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. In the morning you can have coffee on the large... More

If you're a photographer interested in sunrise and sunset shots of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, this is the place to stay. A short walk down the road and you're there. We stayed in one of the Burnside units, small buildings separate from the main hotel, but still on the main road. The room was nice - large, nicely decorated, carpeted, queen... More

We were there for a wedding. Upon the management's recommendation, we stayed in two Burnside rooms. Pros: great location, charming main building, reasonable rates. Cons: No online rez system; must send a check for full payment months in advance. Tiniest bathrooms ever with peeling paint and faucets that wouldn't stay on (think gas station restroom). Rude housekeeper who, when told... More

Cozy, vintage atmosphere with very friendly hospitality. You can hear the surf at night and walk to the lighthouse at any hour. It's a beautiful inn with personality. We return every year with friends.

Consistently comfortable, clean, friendly, convenient, helpful and nostalgic. Hotel Pemaquid is as unique as walled castles in Europe. it's a Maine coast treasure. The owner works hard to preserve its mystique and its tranquility.
