I selected this Inn based on the beautiful online pictures, the lakeside setting, and because the proprietor, Keith, is a chef! It did not disappoint. My husband and I were the first to arrive for the evening, so all of the guest rooms were open for viewing. Each one is beautifully unique with attention to detail. Upon our arrival, Keith... More

repeat stay, stayed here 5 years ago. stayed for graduation, love the fact that during the night i can do downstairs and have a warm drink and read in the lobby when i couldn't sleep. owner is gracious and very accomadating. no jacuzzis in rooms, outside lawn and porch are inviting. great place for couples, and walk to the lake.... Overlooking a beautiful lake with mountains in the distance, this Inn lifted my eyebrows and set me smiling. I left Portland on a hot day for a quick getaway that turned spontaneously into an overnight stay. The best of a relaxing Maine is preserved here beautifully and it inspired my thoughts to leave work and life behind and venture into... More

We really enjoyed our weekend away while visiting our child at overnight camp in Maine. The Inn is well-kept and quaint. It has a lovely porch and offers a home-cooked breakfast every morning. When we were there during very hot, oppressive weather, the innkeeper kept the menu light with offering like homemade granola and eggs any style. They even make... More

Keith and his staff were so very caring that we felt nourished and catered to.Their attention to detail was so appreciated both indoors and on the porch and yard. Our visit was in July, and it was our first visit to Maine. We loved Keith's creative breakfasts, his offering of a glass of wine or beer in the late afternoon... More

This was one fabulous experience! From beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and the perfect breakfast, to emergency martinis after a challenging day of sightseeing, Kieth has been our personal guide to one heck of a relaxing experience. Most highly recommended! P.S. Ask about the Khalua cookies! More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at Long Lake for one night as I travelled to Bangor on business. The Inn is simply gorgeous; the rooms are beautifully decorated with elegant furnishings and spotless bathrooms. Lots of hot water and water pressure, something I didn’t expect in an old New England Inn. Keith Neubert, the owner/innkeeper is... More

I found this Inn on line and it lived up to every expectation I had and more. Each room with a different theme and beautifully decorated (modern bathrooms), but with the charm and splendor of a very old Victorian house. Our Host, Chef and Owner, Keith was gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed Keith as our own personal Chef the first... More

This was our second visit to the Inn at Long Lake and we will definately be back for a 3rd and 4th! The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. Great for a romatic getaway! Try to come on a weekend when the Inn Keeper, Keith, is serving dinner as part of the package. He serves a fantastic meal and the... More

The positive reviews on this site are a mystery. This place is a dump - poky, damp rooms - lightly "decorated" with little more than a poster or coffee-table book of a pre-war Hollywood star to explain away the fact that the decor is decades-old and make them "homage" rooms. The smallest, grottiest bathrooms I've ever seen in the US.... More
