We spent a long weekend here and LOVED it! Room (#14) was clean and comfortable, equipped with small fridge and microwave. The staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating - they provided corkscrews, plates, silverware, lobster pots, grills, etc. We took advantage of the continental breakfast every morning and brought our food out to picnic tables to eat.... more

After much trip advisor research, we decided to stay at the wells-ogunquit resort and were not disappointed. I called several hotels to check rates first and the staff at this motel (Karen) were very nice on the phone and even called me right back with information. We stayed in one of the recently refurbed rooms, #308. The staff were pleasant... more

We started off camping for the weekend at a local campground but had to leave becuase the bugs were so bad. We happened upon the resort motel and they had a vacancy (and room to park the camper), so we checked in. The staff is probably the nicest I have encountered during my travels and we had a newly remodeled... more

I find the place pretty expensive (i paid 199$/night) but it was very nice. We stayed in the brand new rooms. It was very very clean, nice beds (brand new ones!), big tv set in the room...... and the people who works there are very very nice, always there to help. The phone calls to usa and to canada are... more

We stayed at this motel two nights. We had the largest room, #311, and were thrilled with the quiet, spotless room. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the owners were nice, and the facilities were spotless. We were thrilled with the value after having a bad experience with a motel in the White Mountains in NH. more

For a few dollars extra per night we had the option of upgrading to one of the new queen/double rooms, so we couldn't turn it down. The room we stayed in had contemporary-style furniture and a very nice bathroom. The breakfast was filling and it was great to have the option of eating at the picnic tables or taking our... more

I spent 4 nights at the Wells-Ogunquit Motel last August and was pleasantly surprised. Our trip was last minute so budget was a factor and I'd have to say this hotel definitely accomodated our needs. The rooms' decor is a little dated, which I think is expected from most motel style, budget friendly spots, but the ammenities more than made... more

Would thoroughly recommend the Wells-Ogunquit Beach Resort for an economy stay in the southern Maine beach area. Very relaxing set-up, picnic style continental breakfast is a nice touch esp when the weather's good as it was during our visit. Economy rooms are very compact but you get what you pay for. Beaches are easily reached via the local trolley service... more

My husband and I have stayed here 5-6 times as I always came here with my family growing up. We routinely got a double queen type room. I am afraid of change and encountering suprises so never searched elsewhere and was always satisfied. Now that I am older and appreciate a quiet nights sleep however - I will consider another... more
