It's a basic motel. Nothing fancy but comfortable, clean and affordable. Best of all it has direct access to snowmobile trails. Rooms have two doors, one that leads to an interior hallway and one to the outside. Park your snowmobile right in front of your door... perfect. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel right at home.

The staff are terrific! The hotel has a great location, on the way to Baxter State Park. The breakfast is acceptable; if all you expect is camp rations ahead of a hike. Did I mention the staff were nice. The rooms: On the street which can be noisy, the bathrooms are old, the beds are just inside the word comfortable,... More

Decent hotel for the price point. There isn't much in this town and this hotel does offer a clean room and a fair rate. You won't leave with any wow factor but it's clean. I travel a lot for work and from the roadside this is not a place I would typically choose to stay but you could do far... More

The Pamola Motor Lodge is a great motel for the price. Nice clean rooms which were well equipped. Does not normally come with a micro or refrigerator, but if you ask both will be put into the room at no extra charge. Free continental breakfast for the hearty eater. Staff is very nice and friendly. Their knowledge of the area... More

Checked in late and had to go to the bar - which was very nice. Met the owner and although we were tired and needed a shower she took the time to show me the room and I gave it the ok. My wife was too tired to even come in, and after staying at another hotel up the street... More

OK so this is the cheapest hotel available if you are going to Baxter State Park. You're in the middle of Maine and, if you're like me, you just drove a significant distance. You'll be up early to get to the trail head before the rangers give away your reserved spot too. So crash here! You're not looking for the... More

Needed to stay in Millinocket to be able to get an early start on hiking Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park. I know many people would just camp, but I had been on the road prior and needed a bed. This place is located near the entrance to the state park, making it a suitable place to stay. Clean enough...... More

It's not the newest or prettiest place I've ever stayed, but it's clean and the location is close to everything. The hotel is dated and in need of some repair, but the staff were really nice and helpful. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn't hear the TV. They had a continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, bagels,... More

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast room with waffles, Danish pastries, English muffins, bagels, cereal and juice. Room adequate and clean. Plenty of parking. Attached bar and Chinese restaurant with lunch buffet.

Location was excellent, about 35 minutes drive (at speed limit) to Tote Road Gate into Baxter State Park. Within a very short distance from the hotel there is a Rite-Aid, McDonald's, two grocery stores, and a Subway. There were apparently only a few people staying at the time I stayed so I cannot speak about noise from fellow travelers. Internet... More
