As others have commented, this is the first B&B I have stayed at that provides a menu for breakfast. More food than I could eat. Fred and Micki were great to talk with. Micki knows a lot about the area, especially hiking Mt Katahdin at the end of the Appalachian Trail, and where to go to see a Moose. I... More

To say that the breakfast was awesome is an understatement. We received a menu of many items to choose from, ranging from egg dishes to french toast. From the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel welcome by Fred and Micki. The rooms were very nice. Though the town of Millinockett was less than picturesque, we... More

This past summer, my family and I spent a wonderful few days at Micki and Fred's lovely bed-and-breakfast. They have meticulously restored a large, beautiful home in Millinocket, which is very close to Baxter State Park. Baxter, it should be said, is a nature lover's heaven. Trails of all types, beautiful lakes, moose and amazing birds in a place not... More

At the very peak of fall color, we went up to Millinocket and stayed with Micki and Fred before going over the Golden Road (from Millinocket to Greenville). The room we were in was very nice and the breakfast was absolutely unbelievable. We did not anticipate a choice of many many extravagant full breakfasts. The B&B is very near the... More

An excellent B&B! Thumbs up for Micki and Fred! After the warm welcome, we were shown to our spacious, clean and charming room. The breakfast is just heavenly... the only problem was: what to choose! Located near the town center and only a 15min drive to Baxter State Park: close to shops and restaurants and ideal for hiking. We will... More

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable visit to my hometown enhanced even more by the wonderful hospitality of innkeeper/owners Fred and Micki who met our every need and beyond. The delicious and diverse breakfast menu is most remarkable and multiple seating times is also very much appreciated! We stayed at the Young House to explore Baxter State Park. Mickey is a wonderful hostess and Fred is a great cook. The Great Northern Room depicts the old paper mill. This is the room we stayed in. Thank you. We enjoyed our time at your place.

Would definitely stay again! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Hosts went out of their way to make our stay pleasant - even packing a breakfast to go for our early morning hike. Breakfast was amazing - best French toast I have ever had and portions were huge! Great location close to Baxter State Park as well as... More

We spent 3 nights in the Mt. Katahdin room and were extremely pleased. The room was good sized (actually, all 5 are) with 3 large windows. Décor is "country chic", very homey. Highlights are an extremely comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, in room coffee maker, secure WI-FI, and nice TV. We were very comfortable spending time in our room... More
