This B&B provided excellent value for money with a number of unlisted services provided as a bonus such as free internet access and a large DVD library. The location was ideal for for day trips into the nearby Baxter State Park whilst Millinocket had a range of evening dining facilities close by. It was well maintained, very clean and our... more

My stay at the Young House was excellent! My room was recently remodeled and was clean and comfortable. I had my own bathroom in the room, which was also recently remodeled and very clean. The rest of the house was very clean and nicely decorated and breakfast was excellent. The innkeepers were very friendly, helpful, and went out of their... more

This was a perfect jumping off spot preceding our weeklong stay in Baxter State Park. My husband and I both enjoyed the warmth and feeling of home that Micki and Fred greeted us with on Saturday afternoon. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they were more than happy to ice the champagne we had brought and to lend us... more

We felt at home immediatelly, the room (Mt Katahdin) decour was in keeping with this historical house. We had a three day stay and the breakfasts were superb (well done Fred !) and set us up for a days touring. A good base from which to explore Baxter State Park or just enjoy the fall foilage. more

An old victorian house that is a wonderful place with very friendly innkeepers, a great location close to Baxter State Park, tasty food, and a comfortable feel and ambiance. Breakfast was delicious and the price was reasonable for what you get for lodging and a meal for 2 people in such a beautiful setting. An awesome B&B that I'd highly... more

My husband and I stayed at the Young House for a night on our way through Maine to view the foliage. This B&B may be the best kept secret in Millinocket. The Inn is beautifully restored and carefully decorated. The furnishings have been carefully chosen and are very tasteful. The rooms were just beautiful! The inn keepers were very warm... more

We found this place online and what a great find!! Genuine nice people, clean, comfortable rooms and good home cooking. Nice quiet rooms, private baths and wireless access. They even packed us a to-go breakfast on one morning we had to make an early start. Thanks for making our weekend get away even better. more

This was my second time in a B&B. The host and her husband were wonderfully pleasant and helpful people. The house was beautiful and all the rooms were spacious. There was a computer room for use anytime, and Wi-Fi throughout the house. The breakfasts were amazingly wonderful. The first day was eggs and toast with bacon, then next day was... more

First stop on our way further north into Maine. 5-room inn with a warm hostess, Micki shared several tips on where to have dinner at the end of a long day on our Harley. Good selection of movies to view on in-room DVD player. Cozy room, good shower, extra blankets helpful for a cool fall night. Breakfast was hearty (sausage... more

Stayed here after hiking & camping in Baxter State Park. What a treat! Super clean large room with very comfortable bed. Host very friendly. Thought the price of $80 was a steal. Would definetly stay there again! more
