Stayed here during the autumn fall foliage, hoping to be close to Baxter State Park for a few days. The B&B is in the town of Millinocket, which is a very small town that is primarily geared to the backpacking, leaf-peeping crowd (actually, it used to be a more active mill town, but the mill has since shut down). The... More

This is a very nice B & B, Room was very neat and clean. The Inn keepers are very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. Breakfast was great and exactly as I ordered it. Love the Porches with all the rocking chairs. We would definitely return.

Lovely stay here. We started the day with a great breakfast and were surprised at how many choices there were. We are used to staying at B&Bs that only serve one breakfast entree. We ended the day on the porch with a bottle of wine. In between we hiked at Baxter State Park. Hamilton and Bethany were great hosts. Hamilton... More

Our hosts were taking care of the B&B for the owners this season. We had a really nice stay. It was quiet at night and breakfast was great. The house was clean. Our hosts gave us great local dining advice and suggested some nice hikes and activities in Baxter Park for those not climbing Mt Katahdin! We loved the Ice... More

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for three nights. Hamilton and Bethany are the hosts/managers of the establishment. They are lovely, welcoming, socialable, and engaging. They made us feel at home. Breakfasts are from a menu, so you can have your choice of many different deliciousness. I am a towel snob and the towels were soft and cozy. We... More

If you should be so lucky as to be in northern Maine, you might want to look for the Young House B&B in Millinocket ME. We stayed there in late September and had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were so good and the hosts made us feel very welcome. There were several others there when we were and Bethany and... More

We were traveling with friends whose adult son joined us. They stayed in the room which had space for a roll-a-way bed. He said it was comfortable. We found our room accommodations wonderful. Bethany and Hamilton are the house managers, not the owners, but they take wonderful care of you and the property. The breakfasts are huge and wonderful. You... More

My husband and I stayed for just one night in this area of Maine and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The hosts were charming and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfasts were delicious! Bethany handed us a menu for breakfast the evening before and we were stunned at the choices available! They were excellent! Homemade cookies... More

Your hosts at the Young House, Hamilton and Bethany, do a great job making your stay comfortable. The themed rooms reflect local places of interest and are furnished with matching paraphernalia. The rooms are clean and comfortable - each with a sizable private bath and coffee maker. There is a small kitchen where guests will find iced coffee and tea... More
