It's my understanding the inn is under new ownership. I suggest they not open until they have put away the clutter on the porch and in the halls. Maybe then they could charge their rates for an inn room. The chalkboard sign at the front door said they were out running errands. It was dated six weeks ago. I light-heartedly... More

N45°39.446' W68°42.623' On the corner of Central Street and Highland Avenue in Millinocket, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful owners of this newly renovated B&B. Upstairs they offer nicely decorated and clean rooms with window air conditioner, fridge, TV and DVD-player. Wi-Fi is good. The bed in the Moose room slept excellent during our 2-night stay in August... More

We had an extended trip here due to car problems. The host Sean and Catie went out of their way to help . The Bed and breakfast is very cozy and warm from the minute you step inside. We stayed in the moose room which is what we came to Maine to see. Sean and Catie were very helpful in telling... More

The Ice Fish Inn is 17 miles from Baxter State Park. This location makes it a good place to stay to get to the Baxter Park south gate for the 6am opening. The inn keepers were very helpful with our 5am departure by having a breakfast bag with fruit, fresh muffins, cheese and juice waiting for us at the door... More

My boyfriend, my two dogs, and I stayed here for a birthday getaway in July. The owners were super nice and thoughtful - they left dog toys in the room for the pups, and birthday flowers for me. The room fridge was stocked with water and Moxie, sweet, sweet Moxie. They provided an amazing assortment of toiletries too. The dining... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here during a family reunion in August and had an enjoyable time. We stayed in the Chicken Room and LOVED the chickens! The room was clean and decorated nicely. The bathroom is a little small and there is no vanity. It is great for a night or two. My boyfriend also really liked the idea... More

My fiance and I stayed here after sky diving/white water rafting and we could not have made a better choice. Our room was very clean with a jacuzzi tub and the bed was perfect. The owners are so nice and helpful. Definitely treat yourself to a nice room here if you happen to be in the Millinocket area.

I stayed here for a few nights during a vacation that I took with the father and we had a wonderful experience. The owners were extremely hospitable and made us feel right at home! The rooms were very nice and included a very large bathroom. We would certainly stay again if given the opportunity. Also, they give you vouchers to... More

The two hotel/inn owners were very friendly to us. They welcomed us with open arms and a cozy room. With each themed room with squishy pillow animals it us hard not to feel great comfort. It is like being at home but with a bigger dvd collection.

Please note they do not accept reservations for families with children under 12. We were looking forward to staying in a b&b setting with 3 adults and one child while 2 of the adults were hiking Katahdin, and were told they do not accept reservations for children under 12 via email. While I realize this is a benefit to some... More
