I enjoyed the ultimate "total package" snowmobiling experience at 5 Lakes Lodge in March 2015. Hosts Rick and Debbie welcomed us as family into their awesome 5 room bed and breakfast lodge. We rode for three days on mile after mile of superbly groomed snowmobile trails right from the lodge- and Rick said we barely scratched the surface of what's... More

I have to say that the 5 Lakes Lodge is a very comfortable and clean place to make your base for seeing central Maine and specifically Baxter State Park. Debbie and Rick are wonderful hosts, personable, friendly and full of great stories. We value a clean place to stay when we vacation and I commented to Rick that their place... More

5 Lakes Lodge is the perfect place for a snowmobiling adventure. The lodge is surrounded by the outstanding trail system maintained by the Jo Mary Riders. The added bonus to this lovely B&B, Rick, the owner, is also the Trail Master so every morning enjoying one of Deb's delicious breakfast, you can also get the latest in trail conditions. Overall,... I'm in absolute AWE!! We travel a lot to find breath taking views and well groomed trails all over Maine for snowmobiling. We have stayed in Houlton Maine, Jackman Maine and now Millinocket. Let me start out with saying that Rick and Debbie Levasseur have an amazing ability to make everyone feel like long time friends. I was never a... More

I had expected that finding a decent place near Mt. Katahdin in November was going to end with a disappointing stay in a grungy motel. Needless to say, I was beyond delighted to find this gorgeous inn on lovely South Twin Lake with glowing reviews. From the booking process to check-out, every piece of my stay at 5 Lakes Lodge... Spectacular view of Mt. Katahdin across the lake. The Elbow Room was spacious with comfortable glider rockers in front of the picture window to enjoy the view. Scrumptious breakfasts were provided by the gracious hosts, who provided a wealth of local information. We wished we had planned to stay longer. We hope to return.

This place is great! Views of Mt. Katahdin and canoes/kayaks available to paddle out on the lake in the backyard. The owners are fantastic and very knowledgeable of all the outdoor activities in the area. Rick recommended a great mountain bike ride for us and even took the time to call & check in with us to see how we... More

The wife and I recently climbed Katahdin and arrived later in the evening at 5 Lakes Lodge. Debbie and Rick were more than accommodating. They have what I would call the perfect property and lodge. All rooms are immaculate and include everything you could want. Debbie's breakfast each morning is fantastic and the perfect way to start your day. Rick... More
