Deb and Rick were fabulous! The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. Loved the huge soaking tub! Our view of Mt. Katahdin (which we climbed that weekend) was remarkable, and Deb's cooking was delicious. I am gluten and whey-free, yet Deb was able to accommodate for my allergies without missing a beat! (I did let her know before we got... More

Second weekend in a row at 5 Lakes Lodge. Our favorite place to be on a snowy winter weekend. Would like to keep it a secret but that wouldn't be fair to our friends, Rick and Deb, the innkeepers who would want us to share with the world. There is no better place in Maine. The view of Katahdin is... More

This is the second year we have visited 5 Lakes Lodge to go snowmobiling with friends. As novices, we were a little apprehensive at first, but we had a blast!! The trails are well groomed and wind around & through the beautiful lake country. The lodge itself is absolutely gorgeous!! All the rooms face the lake & you wake up... More

Got out of Boston in time for the Blizzard of 2013. Called Rick and Deb and lucky for us they had a room for Friday and Saturday. This was our second stay at the lodge. They are wonderful hosts and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They are very knowledgeable about local activities. Breakfast is awesome... More

My boyfriend Colin & I wanted to see more of Northern Maine so that we could shoot some landscapes and we also wanted to get away for a couple days. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing time. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and kind and our breakfasts were above and beyond awesome. The room we stayed in was super... More

Rustic luxury in a fantastic Northwoods setting. "Like new" cleanliness and made to feel like family the whole time we were there. Genuinely warm and friendly service, food was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

During our 3 weeks trip across New England, we stayed 3 nights at the 5 Lakes Lodge. The location is wonderful, directly at the lake with great views towards Mt Baxter. The building is quite modern, but perfectly matching the surrounding, with some amenities (like floor heating) you will not find in many other B&B's. The Pemadumcook room was a... More

The first awesome is for Rick & Debbie, they are the most amazing hosts (Sam too)! The second awesome is for the most beautiful, comfortable, organized & friendly B&B ever!! And finally the third awesome.....the snowmobiling was incredible. Rick went over the map showing us our route, the convenience of the trail just across the street & the condition of... More

My husband and I were here for 2 days late October. It was a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The lake view from the widow was so relaxing as I sat and knitted while my husband was out in Baxter State park bird watching. The home made breakfast was great and plentiful. Debbie and Rick are great hosts!... More
