We reserved the largest room (I think), in a separate unit. Only two rooms there. We were traveling with lots of luggage, so we didn't want a small room. We were in Unit 12 This room was huge. The beds (2 queens) were good and had nice quilts on them. The lights were low, but there were two comfortable chairs... more

I was traveling with my mom and we needed a clean room to stay in for a reasonable price. This place was almost perfect. Freshly painted and VERY clean. The beds were comfortable and my mom mentioned how nice the bedding was. Complaints were minor. We needed some ice. There was no ice machine and in-room cooler was turned on... more

The motel was recommended by the Chamber of Commerce in Camden as a moderately priced, but very clean motel. It was great, it looked more like a B&B than a motel, we would have stayed more nights if we were staying in the area. It is a few miles outside of Camden, but well worth the extra miles! more

We wanted to do some hiking at Camden Hill State Park, and since my hubby didn't want to camp, I tried to find a place nearby that wasnt going to break the bank. We called to see if they had availability and they did, but we knew we wouldnt get there till after 10pm. NO problem - key will be... more

We chose the Ducktrap as the first stop on out Maine vacation on the strength of the reviews here and were not disappointed. The Ducktrap is small, impeccably clean, and perfectly located. It's just far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful yet close enough to go get breakfast somewhere nearby. The motel is set back from the... more

Rooms were clean and price was reasonable. There was no amount of accommodation that would make the owners happy. They said they welcomed a large party but obviously did not. We asked if the 2 teenage boys could play football in a particular are and was told - yes - then was told no - they wanted them moved -... more

My nephew got married up the road at the Mount 'N Sea, and during the planning stage my wife found the Duck Trap Motel on line. It was perfect ! Clean, comfortable rooms with a midgey-fridge, coffee pot, cable TV, A/C, ceiling fans, well maintained grounds and very reasonably priced. Just 6 miles N of Camden, 6 miles S of... more

I chose this motel because the accommodations in nearby Camden cost much more. This is a very reasonably priced place to stay, and it's only a 10-minute drive from Camden. Our room was very clean, and had nice finishing touches. The beds were very comfortable. The room was larger than the average hotel room. We were glad to be able... more

We stayed a couple nights in the little cottage. It was a nice, quiet place to enjoy time away from the everyday business. more

Our family reserved three rooms -- one for my husband and me, one for our daughters (12 and 14) & my brother-in-law who popped in one night... and one for my brother and his wife. They were clean and comfortable. The property, although on a main road, was up on the hill and quiet. We sat outside each night before... more
