I stayed in a very reasonably priced, simple cottage and it was just what I expected. With one exception......the hosts were so wonderfully kind, considerate and went out of their way to accommodate an unexpected situation. Not that I don't come across nice people in my travels, but Seth and Jessica were beyond helpful and sweet. I would recommend this... More

Abbington's is a great, affordable motel in the Lincolnville/Camden area. We stayed in cottage #7 which had a coffee maker, mini fridge, private deck with view of the water, a queen, and two twin beds. This is a great cottage for a family or a small group of friends. The 1950s cottages are homey, comfortable, and clean. The service provided... More

We had hoped to camp in Camden Hills State Park as we traveled down the coast but because of a 2-night minimum for Labor Day weekend we reserved a water view cottage Abbington's for the night. We were expecting rustic Maine charm (we'd been camping all week so our standards weren't high), but what we got was more like a... More

The place has not seen any updates in years and clearly all profits go into their pockets. Squeaky door hinges and loose sink faucets not to mention coffin like showers in our cottage. Located right on busy and noisy Atlantic Highway. You hear trucks and Harley Davidson motorcycles with no mufflers rumbling by the motel at all times of the... More

Since legal action has been threatened in this review we will limit our response to the following categoric rejection of these assertions. Clearly, and as he himself has implied, this reviewer has a financial objective in mind. This is truly unfortunate. However, we happily direct the reader to all other reviews of this property so they can make an informed... More

Abbington's appears to be another inexpensive cottage style motel on the coast of this popular area of Maine. The cottages, themselves, are simple, clean and comfortable. The one big factor that sets it apart from the others, however, are the incredible folks who manage the property. Seth and his wife were incredibly helpful when disaster struck on our bike trip... Looking for a nice place on Maine's coast, not too expensive, we landed at Abbington's and were very much pleased with the quality/price ratio and warmful and helping tips provided by the owners. Nice upperview of the coast.

Cute, simple and perfect for Maine. We even had to turn on the little electrical heater in the morning cause it was chilly. I always wanted to stay in tourist cabin and now I've done it. The internet even worked in our room. Glad we did it.

At the very serious risk of watching my affordable prices skyrocket with increased ratings, I'm writing this out of sheer loyalty to the most wonderful family running this motel. They made our stay one of the most delightful ever, and I can't let my selfish desire to keep this secret all to myself overcome my hope that this place will... More

I used to live in Camden, and have stayed in many nearby hotels and motels. I just stayed at Abbington's this past weekend, and it's my favorite and I will recommend to everyone looking to visit Camden. It is a true Maine place - simple, comfortable and affordable. The 1950s cabins are whitewashed inside, scented with fresh lavender and include... More

I stayed here this past weekend for a girls' getaway and we fell in love with this charming property. The website doesn't do it justice; the cottages are beyond precious (rustic, but that's what I love for a Maine summer stay) and Seth, who runs the place, is FABULOUS. The pool was perfect, our cottage had a spacious deck overlooking... More
