Back for another 3 nights after our first visit 2 years ago. Stayed across our previous cottage and this one had a little porch and a little bit more room inside this time - at least I think there was as I didn't trip over anything this time. Regardless it was very nicely decorate and very quaint. Very quiet until... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the little cabin. We arrived later in the evening and our room keys were waiting in an envelope for us. When we walked inside we were a little surprised there was no TV, but we quickly got over that. Also, Wi-Fi signal was free and very strong. It was a quaint... More

I was on my way to a family picnic and decided to leave a day early to stay in the Camden area. I found Bay Leaf on my Trip Advisor search. I love staying in cabins and cottages so was thrilled there was one available. It was so cozy. I enjoyed having a kitchenette in my room and the outside... More

Made my reservations for a pet friendly room with a queen bed and pull out sofa bed 6 weeks before our arrival. When we arrived the room with the queen bed was not available ! NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!! Was given a room with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed. Was really cramped for space. Because... More

We went to Maine for a Labor Day getaway with our 10 mo old baby. We had recieved a random Amazon Local deal for Bay Leaf cottages and couldn't have asked for better deal! The cottages and grounds were picturesque- quaint and very well kept. We stayed in Cottage 6. It was small, but perfect for the three of us.... More

It was late at night, rainy, and we were just looking for "any" place to stay and we lucked out at the Bay Leaf. The host was extremely nice and accomodating and the room was clean and comfy. The cabin style room was small but it served the purpose well. Breakfast choices were plentiful and fresh even though when wife... More

My partner and I spent two nights at Bay Leaf Cottages. Although the cottage was small, it was more than enough space to spend the night. The cottage was nicely complemented by the included breakfast. Importantly, the cottage was very clean and the service at check-in and check-out was considerate and helpful. More importantly, for some, the wifi was worked... More

Very unaccommodating. Very pricey, the money does not go into care of the place. Garbage in the room, a garment from a previous person, unswept walks and unmowed lawn around the cottage I stayed in. The coffee in the room was of extreme low quality. And if I had liked the coffee, there was not enough provided in the room... More

We always recommend guests determine if our vintage property fits your vibe/needs. Half of our cottages and motel rooms are pet friendly and we ask only three key things of our guests: 1. don't leave your pet unattended in the cottage, 2. pick up after your pets (we provide poopy bags and bones, blankets, water bowls at check-in), and 3.... Sometimes you don't know what to expect the Bay leaf cottages were comfortable very clean and homey. We only stayed one night but it was a great place to stop and visit Camden on our way to Arcadia. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast very nice.
