The room was dirty, the comforter smelled, the breakfast was cereal no milk and broken Danish, the pool was closed. The weight room machines didn't work, the ice machine had leaves in it. Wifi code didn't work , stains on the wall outside the bathroom looked like someone wiped their butt there. Had a view of trees from the room. Wouldn't... More

My family and I stayed at Glenmoor for two nights in June. The setting is beautiful but this cannot be said for the 1940's cabins we stayed in. They were extremely close to a very busy main road and most noisy. Breakfast was continental and served just off the reception area, this was enjoyable and plenty of it. Staff were... More

We stayed in cabin 2nd row from the water. Unobstructed views, peaceful setting. Located between camden and lincolnville. They served a generous if simple breakfast, perfect before heading out on the trails. Cabins are rustic outside but simple modern yet homey inside.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The only glitch was I booked my reservation through groupon, but I had emailed them to extend my stay for a night. Despite e-mailing and calling and having them charge my credit card a month in advance, they still didn't have the booking. Then, my room wasn't cleaned because they were waiting for us... More

I don't understand what the previous people are talking about but my husband and I had a lovely time there. We stayed in the waterfront cottages #26 and the view was amazing. We loved that they had a bonfire every evening and that we could walk down to the water and sit on the deck and enjoy a glass of... More

Beautiful little motel and cottages sitting 'by the sea', with a very nice walking path and deck to the sea. However, the deck and lower path are not handicap assessable. Cottages look nice on the outside; we did not tour them. We stayed in one of the motel rooms. Love the little deck out back that offers a view of... More

Perhaps there was a misunderstanding. We do not deliver continental breakfast to the rooms unless special requests are made. Continental breakfast is provided daily in our lobby area from 8am to 11am, as is stated on our website, in our check in documents, and also explained upon check in. Continental breakfast includes fresh berries and cantaloupe, a variety of freshly... More

My first recommendation is to read the other reviews. We too, were lured by the photos and descriptors online. We had a Groupon offer and felt we were assigned our room accordingly. We had room #5 of the motel unit (the oldest rental option, we learned), close to the highway, freshly painted but sterile, void of any homey or welcoming... More

Our Seagate building, which has 7 rooms to it, is the origin of the “Glenmoor by the Sea”. It was once called “Smart’s Motel” and was used by travelers as a rest point when making their way to Canada. At that time there were no other cottages and hardly any development in the area. We have aired out #5, and... More

Glenmoor is a beautiful, well-maintained property with great views and staffed by friendly people. It consists of a motel area and several individual cottages. We spent two nights in the motel. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. I am not the sort of person who minds if the furniture looks like it is from an... More

If you want to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic, this is a great location. The cottage was very comfortable, with cable TV and wireless internet. We had a delicious breakfast in the main building, and there were lots of activities for families.

We went on September of 2012 with a couple of friends and our dogs and we had a nice long weekend. On Friday nights they had a good selection of wine, cheese and crackers! and at nights a nice Bonfire.
