We arrived late in the afternoon without reservations and were warmly greeted by Dorothee who showed us a beautiful two room suite on the second floor overlooking the bay. We enjoyed a good dinner at the next door restaurant (also run by Dorothee and Rob) and ended up extending our stay for an extra day to enjoy an evening windjammer... More

The Beach Cottage in had beautiful scenery, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. We stayed in the smallest/cheapest room, "The Puffin Nest", with our friend in the adjoining room "The Bowdoin". Had we not been a double party, it might have been strange to have a door into a strangers room, and we could hear everything next door, but it didn't... More

Our wonderful hosts/owners Rob and Dorothee Newcomb made this vacation very special. Located 100 feet or so from the ocean is a definite plus, you can watch the local ferry comings and goings and the beat of the sea life - gulls, herons, plovers nearby. They have a great pub on the premises Whale's Tooth Pub with an amazing chef and... We picked this place due to its location. it is located right on the water. You get an excellent view of the ocean right from your room depending on the room you pick. Our hostess was very kind and friendly and guided us well. We wish we could have breakfast right there but the places we got credit for were... More

We stayed here on our first New England trip last May. The owners were helpful and welcoming. The location was great, right on the beach, and the place was clean and charming. We stayed in an upstairs unit in the back so that we'd have a beach view. It was close enough to Camden that we could explore Camden from... More

Very charming and extremely clean rooms with a awesome view! Dorothee and Rob were perfect hosts! The location is great. It is directly on the beach and the best Pub in town is located next to it! The Duck Trap is close and it is only a few minutes drive to the mountain, where you have an amazing view over... More

We stayed in the Beach Cottage Inn over Thanksgiving. We booked pretty much last minute. We did not expect much, but got everything. The owner of the Beach Cottage Inn are wonderful, warm-hearted people. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The decor is very affectionate, detailed and authentic chosen. But most of all, this place is incredibly cozy.... More

The cottage is the perfect vacation spot anytime of year. Owners Rob and Dorothee make sure your stay is absolutely perfect! The rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and cozy and situated right on the bay with water views. The whales tooth pub is right next store and the food is delicious and the atmosphere maybe even better. You can have... More

We stayed three nights in the Crow’s Nest in July 2012 and enjoyed it very much. The “wet bar” is actually a bit more than that – it has a microwave and a refrigerator and basic utensils. Being in Lincolnville Beach was nice because it was less crowded than Camden/Rockport/Rockland (all of which are close by). The Inn is easy... More

We did a last minute trip to the Camden area. The only room available was the least expensive Timberwind. Let me start out by saying the Inn is very clean. The Timberwind, at $150 per night, is a very small one bedroom in the front of the house, which is steps from the main road. It is probably the least... More
