Our family of 5 together with a second family of 5 shared a 4 bedroom condo at West Wind. Was a great spot for young kids. Everyone found a place to ski at their skill level, from expert to beginner. We have come to Sugarloaf several times over the years. We & our now teenaged daughters all love the place. Something for everyone--free ski lessons for 19yrs & over, good food and lots of activiites--turbo tubing, rock climbing, swimming, if you have the energy after skiing all day. We've stayed at Sugarloaf/USA in the winter and summer. The resort's relative isolation from major cities is a god-send for those serious about getting close to a first-class mountain, run by locals who are genuinely down to earth. The bottom floor of the Timberwinds condominium, the only room left for New Years Eve 2004-2005. Yea, we took it. Didn't want to dissapoint the family, you know.
