Stayed here while motorcycling back from the east coast in July. No need for a reservation in summer (at least when I was there), huge room with two beds with a spectacular mountain view was $120. They let us park the motorcycles near the front under the awning - nice since it was a wet night. Room was clean, beds... More

My family and i just returned from a 4 day vacation over the christmas break, and we are already scheduling our return for next year. The skiing was pretty good due to mild weather this season but the kids and I were able to find enough terrain to provide quality skiing. Unfortunately the mild weather prevented them from settingnup terrain... More

Sugarloaf calls itself the Skiers Mountain and I agree. It's great. I love Whiteface, my home mountain, but wish it had more great fall line trails like Sugarloaf. We had booked a condo in Sugar Tree to be near our group and in the same building as the fitness center. But due to some internal problem the Sugarloaf Condo rental... More

Our family of 5 together with a second family of 5 shared a 4 bedroom condo at West Wind. Was a great spot for young kids. Everyone found a place to ski at their skill level, from expert to beginner. The accomodations were not luxurious but clean and spacious. We loved the washer and dryer in our unit but found... More

We have come to Sugarloaf several times over the years. We & our now teenaged daughters all love the place. Something for everyone--free ski lessons for 19yrs & over, good food and lots of activiites--turbo tubing, rock climbing, swimming, if you have the energy after skiing all day. Skiing in to condo is great--we usually stay in Snowbrook. Only have... More

We've stayed at Sugarloaf/USA in the winter and summer. The resort's relative isolation from major cities is a god-send for those serious about getting close to a first-class mountain, run by locals who are genuinely down to earth. Conversely, it is probably not the best choice for those who crave a glitsy apres-ski experience. While predominantly known as a ski... More

The bottom floor of the Timberwinds condominium, the only room left for New Years Eve 2004-2005. Yea, we took it. Didn't want to dissapoint the family, you know. Two nights, a sketch over $800.00 for 2 adults and 2 teens, skiing for 1 adult and 2 teens for 2 days. One bedroom was supposed to have a queen, had 3... More
