This year the hotel has had a bit of a face-lift with a new bar / restaurant on the ground floor and a 40+ person outdoor hot-tub. It's a good, and welcome addition. The hotel COULDN'T be closer to the mountain. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is a little on the small side. There is... More

Had a great day of spring skiing. We had the misfortune of staying at the end of the season when pretty much everything was coming to a close and ended up cutting our trip short, but we will definitely return next winter. The staff is one of the greatest things that makes Sugarloaf so great! Emily and Jessie were terrific... More

This is my first time staying at this property in many, many years. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating! I showed up a little earlier than the check-in time and they graciously allowed my early arrival. The room was spacious and clean. The bedding was cozy and plush with plenty of pillows. Thick towels (including beach towels for the... More

It's great being right there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I have stayed many times at Sugarloaf in different condos and such but this is now my all time favorite. The skiing was awesome.

We have stayed here many times and are always happy. We don't expect a 5 star at a ski resort. The staff are great and all of them are skiers themselves--chill out and relax people. Beds are comfy. We were here for raggae weekend and had no noise issues at all which was a pleasant surprise. Windows in our room... More

Six of us shared two rooms during a recent Friday and Saturday night stay. The following morning, each of us remarked how well we had slept on the VERY comfortable beds! Our rooms had a kitchen nook with sink, microwave, mini-fridge, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, glasses and silverware. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, an ironing board and... More

As in many other reviews it can't be said enough how friendly and helpful the staff are. That fact mostly makes up for the slightly worn out state of the hotel and the overabundance of flies in the room. We stayed 4 nights in an Alcove room. We were 2 adults and a small child and the size was great.... More

First the good- The staff at the hotel could not be nicer from check-in to check-out they are always helpful. The rooms were decent size and the new restaurant in the hotel was great for breakfast and ok for dinner. The new hot tub is really great after a long day freezing on the mountain. The bad- If you have... More

My friend and I spent a week of skiing at Sugarloaf. Stayed at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. The room was excellent. Staff was very friendly. The mountain was fabulous. Will surely go back again next year.

Sugarloaf is a substantial mountain for a New England resort. We stayed 3 nights over Martin Luther King weekend 2014. They were blowing snow over a somewhat icy base, similar conditions to our trip to Sugarloaf in 2010. There are plenty of blue runs, more challenging intermediate / expert slopes on the left side as you face the mountain, and... More
