This hotel is truly charming, it's a mix of the 'Dirty Dancing Complex' and gives a feel of family run care, it's quaint, warm, welcoming and comfortable. Rose on reception is a gem and all the team we met really tried their best to help. The grounds are well kept and generally this is just a lovely place to stay... More

the first time we stayed here we were blown away by how pretty it was. our room had a small outdoor patio for two and it was very cozy. the room was very clean and the bed/pillows were great! we originally only booked one night but we woke up the next morning and decided to stay another night. we couldn't... The front desk was confused on check in...the night Manager said she would fix the errors in the computer. Guess what...check out was a mess because the computer wasn't updated. The food was okay......nothing to write home about. Accommodations were overpriced.

Affordable waterfront hotel in walking proximity to Dock Square and Walker's Point. Start your day with their included breakfast that offers something for everyone. In room Keurig coffee. Staff was friendly and eager to please. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Pool was refreshing. Kayak rental was included in our stay...which was a nice way to check out the boats on... More

As others have already reported, the grounds are lovely and well-kept. We stayed in the Portside Building which is supposed to be "newer", two queens with balcony overlooking the river, The view was fine. The room was very average with an older TV. The beds were on the soft side. We were on the second floor and could easily hear... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location, bar none. It's right on the water and a short walk from the shops in town. I need to caveat its major drawback by first saying that I realize it's Maine and it's summertime, but the value for the money was not great. The rooms were small but clean. Unfortunately, we... Having stayed at the Nonantum previously, we were very disappointed with the quality of the rooms. We had a small "suite" which was really two small rooms connected by an outdated bathroom which was on the 4th floor. I am all for cozy, but this room was totally outdated and old right down to the dusty, old, fake floral arrangement.... More

Thank you for bringing to my attention that some of the rooms up on the 4th floor are in need of a facelift. I have just finished a tour of the area, and must say I concur with your assesment! We will begin upgrading some of the tired areas right away! In addition, I will speak to the Bellmen to... More

Our family of four stayed in the Portside Lodge in a room with a balcony overlooking the bay area which was very pleasant and quiet. The room was a bit overpriced and most definitely could be updated as it didn't look like the internet pictures. We enjoyed the location of the room and it was comfortable - very laid back... More

Staying at the Nonantum was truly special. Our room was comfortable (2 queens plus a roll away) with the best feature being a sliding glass door which lead directly outside to the beautiful grounds. Sitting in adirondack chairs overlooking the water was definitely a treat and the kids enjoyed an evening of roasting marshmallows over an open fire--very family friendly... More

I reserved a room in the Nonantum resort for a single night based on its appearance on its website. The room pictured on the website was modern and spacious. The room I received was dated and cramped. There is a large pipe running down from the ceiling. The room is about half the size of the one pictured on the... More

I am so sorry the lady or gentleman who wrote the above review was less than satisfied with their stay! It sounds like perhaps he/she arrived in the middle of a busy wedding or event, hence the cars parked on the grass. In actuality, several of our parking spots are on a grassy space so perhaps that is what this... More
