Nice pool, food below standard i would expect for price, lovely views and Kennebunkport is nice. Staff v friendly and included our kids in the fairy themed gardens for that week. Overall a nice experience but not exactly luxurious.

Nonantum Resort is charming, reminds me of a Victorian style bed-and-breakfast. It has a cozy feel to it, which I love. My family was happy with the stay, but they typically choose more modern/sleek decorating. The staff were all extremely helpful - always asking if we needed anything. The complimentary breakfast was good (not your typical hotel continental breakfast) -... More

We've been to the Nonantum quite a few times over the years. While it is not perfect, it has always been one of our favorite places to stay. We have stayed both within the Carriage House (main hotel) and the Portside. From the outside, the hotel is quite nice and the grounds are well kept. It' s location by the... More

we picked the nonantum resort from the magazine travel and leisure. They had a special package that looked very nice. When we got to the resort they gave us a room in the main building that was on the 3rd floor!!!!!! They have an elevator but its really a service elevator that you can't use to go up and down... I am very puzzled by this review. Both of our buildings have elevators. The one in our 127 year old Inn does require hotel personnel to operate it, but personnel are available 24 hours a day at the touch of a buzzer. Many people comment how charming it is to return to the days of chatting with the elevator operator!... More

Pros: Nonantum resort has lovely grounds by the river. The common rooms are nice. Breakfast is good with a fair amount of variety. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cons: Some in our party couldn't sleep because of the noise from people walking above their room. Our room in the original building was a bit shabby considering the rate. It... More

I think the experience you have here will depend on the room you get.Our first night was spent in a room in the main building, and it was extremely small, with no view. The air conditioner was right by the head of the bed, and it was so noisy and cycled on and off all night. We didn't get much... More

Got a deal using Zoo Promotions. The third floor, king room had a view of the water and was very nicely decorated. It was roomy. The floor did creak and could hear adjoining rooms. The included breakfast was very good (not just your typically continental fair). The manager that checked us in was very pleasant and allowed us to check... More

My sister's and I planned a weekend get-a-way for our Mother's 80th birthday. From the time we made the reservation the reservation staff was full of excitement over what we were planning. When we arrived at the hotel that evening our beds were turned down with a delicious piece of chocolate on each pillow and a small wrapped box and... More

We booked a romantic weekend away. Unfortunately, we were not made aware of the fact that a prom would be going on outside the same weekend. The staff upon check in was very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations. Our biggest complaint was the noise from the floors. We were on the second floor in the Portside Lodge. As you...
