We returned again to The Old Fort Inn, which has now merged with The Cape Arundel Inn and is now known as The Old Fort Estate. This wonderful and secluded BnB nestled in the old Neighborhood, two blocks off of the Atlantic Coast is our retreat away from the world. This was our 4th trip back to this BnB and... More

We're back! This is our fifth year staying at the Old Fort Inn. Reason: quiet, peaceful and quaint. Also easy access to biking the area. Great swimming pool for sun worshippers. Comfortable king size bed, with very comfortable pillows. Full breakfast at the sister Cape Arundel Inn with a nice selection and friendly service. We will be back next year... More

The Old Fort Inn offers the best of two worlds: a quiet, spacious, tastefully furnished, and comfortable lodging nestled into a neighborhood of beautiful houses and grounds, with privileges in its sister property, the Cape Arundel Inn, located three blocks away, overlooking the ocean. Our room was spacious and well-furnished with a comfortable king-sized bed, crisp linens, and chairs for... More

We recently returned from Kennebunkport where we spent three nights at the Old Fort Inn. Our room was clean and great with a mini fridge, fire place and wonderfully comfortable king bed. The Inn was quiet and secluded and the pool was just lovely. We loved the service that we received and enjoyed taking the bicycles around the neighborhood for a... More

We had a very nice stay at the Ivy Cottage (a 3-bedroom house on the Old Fort Inn property managed by the Inn). The house was nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us great advice on things to see and do. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood away from... More

We stayed just one night, on our way through Maine to our coastal summer cabin. This little B and B is owned by a larger inn down the road, the Arundel inn, where we has a sumptuous breakfast. Our room was spacious, and the bed was just perfect-- firm but not hard. Enjoyed a free cocktail and a game of... More

When connecting via mobile phone or tablets. My phone got connected for awhile and gets disconnected even though there is enough signal from the router. I suggest that they should have the router fixed or checked. It was a great place indeed. Quiet and tranquil. Food was so-so. The rooms were great though.

Old Fort Inn is a gem in Kennebunkport! We received a complimentary upgrade to the suite. This was wonderful. It was great enjoying the views from Cape Arundel Inn. Loved the happy hour on the porch and the great breakfasts at Ocean Restaurant. We didn't receive champagne upon arrival as others guests wrote about. Also, the website states a butler's... More

Cape Arundel/Old Fort Inn was absolutely amazing. I cherished every second. Sitting on the porch having a glass of wine in the evening, enjoying the heated pool over noon and the beautiful views of the ocean. The hotel was quaint and quiet. The staff was helpful and very attentive. If we weren't coming back with kids next, we would be... More

All was cozy and friendly. Stayed in the gate house in a small but nice and comfortable room. Nice breakfast and perfect location. Be prepared to climb stairs with you suitcases if you book late like we did. Oh well, we needed the exercise anyway!
