We were on a "road trip" to Maine with our two sons (6yrs & 9yrs) and decided to spend our 1st weekend in Kennebunkport. Since we had another oceanfront resort booked for the trip I decided to stay in town. I found and booked Chetwynd House because they welcomed kids. Great location, right around the corner from Dock Square. Bob the innkeeper is great...attentive without being overbearing. The inn is a great value for the money. My wife and I spent four relazing and engaging days in Kennebunkport over the July 4th weekend this year. We were looking to vacate the Boston work scene and also get a deal. The Chetwynd House Inn covered both and more. Bob Knowles knows the business and is a veteran at this Innkeeper thing. He has created some ingenious ways... more
