We stayed in the spacious Chatham room on the first floor, with a wonderful gas fireplace. (It was April). Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious and elegantly presented and served. So many nice touches throughout the inn. Relaxing and friendly.

My husband and I went to Captain Jefferds inn for the first time three years ago. This summer will be our third and fourth time there. Perfect place to relax, fabulous innkeepers and staff and a perfect place to enjoy Kennebunk with our dogs. Honestly the best place to stay in Maine. We recommended the B&B to everyone around us.

This is a large B&B within easy walking distance to town centre where several restaurants and shops are located. Our stay was lovely, breakfast was delicious and the staff very professional.Parking is on site.

From the moment you step through the front door of this immaculately kept inn, you are made to feel at home; the innkeepers and staff welcome you as if you are old friends returning for a visit to their home. Rooms and grounds are maintained beautifully. As one of our fellow guests remarked, "there's not even a single chip of... More

This was my first visit to the Captain Jefferds Inn, but it certainly won't be the last. I loved staying in this 1804 inn—so beautifully maintained and graciously furnished. My room was quiet and lovely—fireplace, wingback chairs for sitting by the fire, huge and comfortable bed. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating—Eric, Sarah, Steve, everyone. The three-course... More

This was our fourth or fifth return visit, which speaks volumes. We visited during the most quiet time of the year, which was lovely and restful. As usual, the service, food and professionalism of the staff was beyond compare. Sarah, Erik, Rachel, Steve and the rest of the staff go out of their way to make you feel relaxed and... More

Sarah, Erik, Steve and Tina, certainly work hard and make the Captain Jeffrey's inn a thoroughly relaxing and great place to stay. From the greeting to the snacks and wonderful sunroom to the living room fireplace, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast, you receive the best when choosing their B & B...even if it's not ideal weather outside, inside is great.

Even in winter, this large coastal home projects a feeling of comfort. Without even seeing the fireplace going, you know you’re about to be warmed and welcomed inside. As we walked up the steps and made our way inside, our feelings were confirmed. Innkeepers Erik & Sarah Lindblom have expertly restored the home, which exudes charm and character from its... More

My husband booked us two nights at Captain Jefferds as a birthday surprise. I couldn't have had a more wonderful weekend!! From the moment we arrived, everyone was bending over backwards to ensure we had a wonderful time. There was champagne in our upgraded room, candles in my breakfast scone, so many cute little touches! No detail has been overlooked... More

Stayed here for a business trip but would surely be back for a vacation. Not only was my room homey and up to date, but the three course breakfast each morning really made the stay extra special! Highly Recommend!
