My husband and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary at the 1802 House. As Innkeepers ourselves we admired the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the Inn. The rooms included whirlpool tubs with plush bathrobes, working fireplace, CD player and music, TV, DVD, monogramed wine glasses, bed warmers and chocolates. And in the moring we were treated to a wonderful 3... more

My wife and I spent an anniversary at the 1802 House. The accomodations are very nice, and the breakfast was great. The hosts, Jay and Linda, really make this stay special. They were extremely helpful with suggesting things to do and gave us great dining recommendations. Always were willing to spend time giving us assistance. more

My husband & I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Kennebunkport, ME. After a good deal of research we booked the 1802 Inn for 3 nights. We were impressed. The rooms were very clean & comfortable & many extra touches (bottled water, chocolates in our room, homemade cookies that Linda made on a daily basis, etc) made our trip extra special.... more

We've stayed at this inn before, through 3 previous owners over the years. The most recent previous owners seemed ready to retire and I think that Jay and Linda's stewardship is going to take the place to new heights, and probably prices. There were several changes that Jay and Linda were making. One was that Linda really was trying to... more

We just returned today from our 4 night stay at this most romantic, relaxing, and wonderful Inn. We can not say enough about Linda and Jay the proprietors of this New England gem. Upon arriving Jay and Linda greeted us warmly and provided us with extensive information regarding all that Kennebunkport and it's surrounding areas had to offer. We were... more

I LOVE his bed and breakfast. Outstanding service, cleanliness, hospitality, decor and breakfast. Linda and Jay are wonderful: always happy to arrange anything from dinner and flowers to a horse drawn carriage ride. They even sent us picture of us on our carriage ride. We stayed in the Sebago Suite and everything was perfect: the jacuzzi room was clean and... more

Our friends and us stayed at 1802 House at the start of our Maine trip. Our hosts were helpful, welcoming, acommodating, knowledgeable about many aspects of the region and happy to share with us helpful tips. The facility is very pleasant and clearly reflects the desire of the hosts to do all they can to ensure a pleasant stay. It... more

This is a very nice inn and it is close to the center of the town and the scenic drives. We stayed in the Windsor room for 2 nights recently. Linda and Jay are great and the breakfasts are very good. The only thing that could make it better is if the tvs were a bit bigger. Other than that... more

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights over New Year's at the 1802 House, professionally and personably run by Linda and Jay. This B&B is in a very quiet neighborhood and just a 5-10 minute walk to "downtown." We had the York Room, small but reasonably priced and cozy. On New Year's Eve, Linda made very tasty hors d-oeuvres... more

Jay and Linda are great hosts - we arrived early and were allowed to go ahead and check in. Jay provided us with a map and then spent about 15 minutes highlighting great places to see. They made our dinner reservations for Pier 77 and it was a great experience as well. Breakfast was wonderful - and Jay provided great... more
