We stayed here for one night. The grounds are beautiful. The lobby and downstairs are very beautifully decorated though the carpet could be updated, looks worn. Our room was very nice and clean. We had a sitting room and a king size bed which were all very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was in need of... More

I had an 80 minute Swedish massage, and my massuese was very talented. She was professsional, and paid attention to areas that were sore and needed work. The spa is quiet and serene, and the relaxation room overlooks the river and marina close by. The robes are very comfortable, and last but certainly not least, they wrapped my feet in... More

We had a great stay at The Breakwater Inn & Spa. The view was amazing, we just sat out in the yard for a while with a couple drinks. The rooms were very nice and welcoming. The spa is a little pricey...I got a manicure and pedicure and had sticker shock compared to the regular shops I go to in... More

I've been coming to Maine on vacation for over 25 years but this location is by far the best little kept secret in Southern Maine. My wife and I love to find little gems like this diamond in the ruff. It's owned by White Barn Inn which helps to elevate this inn another notch. The rooms are quaint and the... More

We stayed in a King room in the Spa Building. Young lady that checked us in and took us to our room was very nice and helpful. For the rest of our 2 night/3 day stay, we were not greeted or even acknowledged when we greeted desk staff as we passed by, which was frequently. I did email manager and... More

This was my second stay at the Inn. I again loved the room and views. The foreign woman at the check in desk came off as very unfriendly and cold, I am not sure I saw even one smile. Even though there is a language barrier and maybe she was nervous, it was not a welcoming check in experience and... More

We only had one night there, sure wish it was more. The staff went above and beyond to assist us, the room was wonderful, on the water, with a great balconey. Well furnished and quiet. If you find yourself in Kennebunkport, this is a top choice.

The inn was great right on the water, Spa services were wonderful, BUT on my last day there in the shower the heat lamp broke and fell on me in the shower, burnt me and I was a little insulted as to how the inn handled it. They discounted $40 off my stay, and no phone call nothing I have... More

We are very appreciative of guest feedback, especially when it brings to our attention an issue that may impact a guest’s enjoyment of our Inn. As it happens, I was away from the Inn for a few days at the time of this guests departure, and did not become aware of the incident until my return two days later. I... More

My husband and I stayed here for my "birthday weekend" (March - which is off season) and were a little disappointed. We have dined at the "Stripers" restaurant several years in a row for my birthday and LOVE it, so we were sad to find this year it was closed until May. The room was pretty bare bones and looked... We had a mother/daughter spa weekend over the third week of January when Kennebunkport is essentially desolate - which made it a truly special experience! The staff was so warm, attentive and experienced. The spa room accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The spa services were exquisite - we would recommend this to anyone - at any point in the year!... More
