This is a wonderful place for atmosphere, food and relaxation. We stayed at The Breakwater on the Kennebunk river where I sat and just read a book a lot of the time...so relaxing. Everything is so convenient you can walk to quaint little shops and wonderful restaurants. The "All Day Breakfast" was an especially great place to start the day.... more

This hotel had a great setting at the mouth of the river. Very friendly staff. We had a nice room looking out to the river. We did not eat in the restaurant at night although it did look very nice. One you had to be dressed up for though. If you plan to go to Kennebunkport I would recommend this... more

very nice resort on the river. we had a queen room in the spa building. very nice rooms but the bathroom was small and the lighting was horrible and the AC was so loud!! would stay again but next time i would like to be in the main building! more

What an amazing three day stay! Came for a wedding and never wanted to leave. When I informed the Inn that I had a disability that needed accomodation, they were extraordinarily responsive- put in a hand held shower unit and removed the rug to avoid any tripping. The food was fantastic, the service outstanding and the overall atmosphere was wonderful.... more
