A belated review, but we are making plans for our annual trek to Kennebunkport, ME. Last summer we had made reservations for a two-night stay at the resort. The first night was great. Our room overlooked the outside pool and it was great to see lots of families enjoying the amenities while we enjoyed a glass of wine from our... More

Sorry about your mishap (or wife's mishap) but those kinds of unexpected emergencies happen at the worse possible time it seems. Our desk staff is wonderful and have helped guests in a variety of ways. We are happy that you plan to return again. We look forward to seeing you. More

Specifically looked for a hotel of some sort with a pool. We took our kids for a nice quiet weekend which we got. Had a nice conversation with the lady at the desk who chatted with our kids and found out that we where using the pool and she put us in a room right next to it and gave... More

We're very happy that you enjoyed your stay. Winter can be more manageable when there is a great place to get away to that is inexpensive (off season rates) but still offers the amenities that make it convenient for families. The indoor pool for the children and the indoor and outdoor hot tubs for adults make for fun for all... More

I love the Rumb Line!! I've been vacationing here with my family for over 20 years. Now starting my own family and this place couldn't be better. Outdoor bar/pool (summer) and an outdoor hot tub that is open year round! Not to mention an indoor pool/hot tub as well!! We have never been in the winter until this year and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. Our outdoor hot tub has been busy these past couple of weeks. It seems our guests love sitting outside, surrounded by snow, enjoying the steamy spa with snowflakes in their hair. Hope we see you again soon. More

This was my second visit to the Rhumb Line Resort. The first with my husband and daughter in 2012. This last trip with my friends (3 ladies) in October. It lived up to my first trip experience. The staff namely Katie and Melony were excellent. They recommended restaurants and other sights for us to see, and without exception every one... More

We found this place at the last minute for 1 night because the large fancy hotel did not have a room left for our last night in the area. Rhumb Line is a nice motel away from the town and all of the hotels, resorts, and B&Bs. The room was very clean with 2 doors, one to the parking lot... More

We spent one night at Rhumb Line and it was a good value, nice beds, and clean. It is in a wooded area, so the scenery is very nice. It is located a little out of town, but a nice drive. We had a good nights sleep and although we didn't use the outdoor pool, it looked very nice.

We were travelling to Northern Maine and had an unplanned stop in Kennebunkport. We should have kept going. Paid $159 for an 'updated' room. Not sure what was updated, but it looked like it was still stuck in the 80's. I should have asked to look at one of the older rooms to actually see what the difference was. I... More

Do not be fooled by the name. This place is no resort. I'd rather sleep under a bridge. Staff rude. Charged twice the amount we were told. Very rude, dirty, misleading, and unfair. No beach. You will have a dirty room overlooking the back parking lot at best. Please, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. I don't know how... More

We took advantage of a mid-week special price this September and decided to make the 4 hour trip back to Maine and Kennebunkport for a few days. Although the hotel was outside of town, we enjoyed our stay immensely. The bed, coverings and pillows were the best we have ever slept on. The room was very clean also. The pools... More
