We took advantage of a mid-week special price this September and decided to make the 4 hour trip back to Maine and Kennebunkport for a few days. Although the hotel was outside of town, we enjoyed our stay immensely. The bed, coverings and pillows were the best we have ever slept on. The room was very clean also. The pools... More

The room we were allocated was advertised as renovated. The draperies and bed linens were crisp and clean, as was the washbasin area. The enamel on the tub was chipped, the stopper was a flat rubber one, the tub drain was corroded and rusty, the carpet was so dingy I didn't like to walk on it in bare feet. The... More

Recently stayed here and would not recommend it. To give an example, they gave a bar of soap about two inches long by a half an inch wide for both the shower and the sink for the whole stay. Definitely cheap!. The room was clean but outdated. Had a horrible problem with groups of young people partying into the night.... More

We went to this resort for a one night, Monday to Tuesday stay. Only bummer was after Labor day the restaurant/bar at the resort is closed. It was cool out, so the Hot tub was nice in the evening and morning before we hit the road. Convenient to the town- where we had dinner on the Harbor. For rubber neckers,... More

The rooms, updated, were clean but left a lot to be desired. The place is old and needs some modernization and repairs. There was a ceiling leakage in the basement by the exercise room. The outdoor pool was nice and the little outdoor bar was lovely. Continental breakfast was good. Is on the trolley line which is nice. Staff very... More

Thanks for taking the time to send in a review. We are taking care of that leak as we speak. It happened during the summer and we were too busy to close the indoor pool for any length of time. Now that it has slowed a bit, we have an expert coming in to handle it. We have been told... More

Booked this place because everything was sold out and family members had gone there many years ago. There was nothing wrong with this place, but it was tired and in need of updating. It is okay if you are seeking something affordable and don't mind that it is old. I would correct the label from resort to motel to more... More

Overall I love the hotel.. The rooms are rooms.. clean, comfortable beds, etc... Continental breakfast is great.. Outdoor pool area is awesome. The only issue I had this visit (we stayed preseason in June) was the pool area being filled with locals.. After I could not get a chair by the pool the first day, I went early and put... More

We stayed in a mini suite for 4 nights. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. Our first impression is that the place looks ok, but older and not maintained. At reception we were met by a very rude older woman (wasnt there often so maybe not permanent), who just didnt care at all about offering any service and we... More

We stayed for two nights. Michelle at the front desk during the day was very pleasant and helpful. The rooms do need some updating but were very clean, large and comfortable. The continental breakfast was adequate. Yogurt and fruit would have been a nice addition. Our last morning we met Mrs. Barbara Bush in the lobby. Made our day! This... More
