We had a nice stay at this campground. Calm, relax atmosphere and away from any road noise. Salty Acres is a well situated and quite camping near a great beach. Good price but of course it has minimal services. Some sites are on the smaller side and offer very limited privacy so make sure to reserve early and let know... More

They charged us for 3 adults (3rd adults costs half the price of the site!!!) without advising us for our 7 night stay ($45 instead of $30 per night). They did not want to reimburse us or go half way. When I called to make the claim, the management was to busy to speak to me, I had to call... More

Salty Acres Campground is nestle in a beautiful area of Kennebunkport. Walking distance to the beach, a beautiful sandy beach. The pools and laundry facilities are great. The only thing I would personally prefer is a greater number of showers. I don't like waiting in line 20 minutes for the only shower available in my little area. The camping sites... More

We stated one night in site #45; which is a good location. (not far from restrooms, semi private, and would normally quiet. However we had some guys who had some very loud female friends making noise well into AM (2ish AM)! We tried mgmt; but no one answered phone. This was after we had asked them to keep the noise... We have stayed at this campground three times in about four years. Each for varying lengths of time and in different parts of the campground. It's not one of the fancy campgrounds with activities galore. That's not why we camp, we go for a quiet relaxing time. The staff is friendly and helpful. Yes they do charge for visitors, but... We only stayed one night here, so my review is based on limited experience. First off, the plusses - convenient location to Goose Rocks Beach: it was an easy and lovely bike ride to get there. The pool at the campground was also nice. The people in the office were helpful and friendly. A few minusses - the showers are... More

Salty Acres is a beautiful campground very close to the beach and Arundel Wharf. However I was denied a seasonal campsite because my camper is 11 year old and they only allow campers 10 years old or younger, even though my camper is well kept and there is no difference in physical appearance between the 10yr old model of my... Basic Campground - Great Beach close by. The campground itself has varying sized sites - wooded, but pretty close together. It is perfect for a weekend of car camping with the family. I like that there are no planned activities -- between the beach (short drive away) and the pool at campground, the kids are happy. We have been 3... More

We decided to take a last minute camping trip this past weekend, and chose Salty Acres based on it's proximity to Goose Rocks Beach (2 miles), Cape Porpoise, and downtown Kennebunkport (10 minute drive). We were pleasantly surprised by our whole experience. 90% of campsites are private and nicely situated, you really can't go wrong. Almost all campsites are in... More

Salty Acres is a beautiful campground. With the exception of a few smaller sites, the sites are very wooded. Making it feel like you're actually camping in the woods. The service was more than anyone could ask for and the staff super friendly. The price was comparable to other campgrounds in the area too. I will definitely visit again if... More
